I love the setting, quests and content but the actual story telling and then the stupid stuff I can do with my friends in dungeons or when farming are what keep me playing and coming back for more.

I did enjoy the (single player) content, but now I'm just doing dailies to get stuff to sell to buy some more motifs and vouchers from crafting to get stuff for my house. It's getting a bit dull alone to say the least, but playing together makes up for that. ✭It's gritty high fantasy without generic story lines. For example, in World of Warcraft you have the generic happy faction (alliance) and the somewhat evil and chaotic faction (Horde). it's bland and has no substance. I feel like Tamriel is more "realistic" in the sense of how everything unfolds and develops. The struggles, wars, conflicts, villains, and such.5 -

I don't know if you can imagine, what effort it takes to get all these sounds right so that you feel like you would be really there - just from how it sounds already. Our ears are highly specialized sensors to detect anything, what sounds out of place - so this might actually be that what i admire most - ESO's sound design.2 -

This wont probably help but since we are talking about in game sound, use a headphones, the sound is so much better and you hear stuff that you, or maybe its just me, wouldnt hear when the sound comes through the tv or cheap pc speakers.

✭✭✭✭vMA on stamina NB and magicka Templar, vSP and vFL HM, and also vBF w/o healer when I tank them. vMoL and veteran Craglorn trials on HM are still pretty fun as tank and melee DD. The rest I either haven't tried, or they are too easy to be considered fun anymore. For example I tanked vWGT on my stamina NB a few weeks ago with some gear I had just put together and at the end I saw [To Spite a Tharn] poop up on the screen. That was fun back in the day, when it was actually hard Beta tester since February 2014, played ESO-TU October 2015 - August 2022, currently on an extended break

One day I’m farming, then I’m trading, then I’m running a dungeon. Sometimes I’m a healer, sometimes I’m a damage dealer. Sometimes I love Magicka, other times I’m Stamina. Sometimes I quest. Sometimes I just mooch about chatting to people I’ve become friends with over time. Sometimes I take a trip out to Cyrodiil. Sometimes I stay at home and decorate my property estate.
I can think of worse hobbies!2
