All classes work depending on whether you plan to play a build where you stay in WW-form as long as possible, or a playstyle where you just go into WW-form for some extra burst potential.
In general there´re 2 classes that comes out on top due to their passives:
* Templar
* Sorcerer
@Lyseruswith sorc you can have a 4 bar build...
I wonder if this gear setup would work well for a werewolf build:
5x dreugh king slayer
5x toothrow
2x slimecraw
That would give you major brutality, major savagery, and minor berserk at all times and work while shifted. Make sure its a dual wield setup for max weapon damage.
Templar makes for a fun werewolf healer hybrid utilizing Pelinal's. Solid solo and group play.
Sorc is best for damage. Pair with overload for 4 bars total. Works best with support.
Nightblade has the best sustain.
DK has a second wind due to battle roar.
Warden has some good survivability in human form. Surprisingly not a lot of help in werewolf form, too many passives tied to class lines and abilities.

It would not work well.
In Pve
5 medium means using dreugh jewelry aka healthy and overall would have underwhelming stamina pool.
Toothrow jewelry means running 5 heavy, dropping weapon damage and crit.
In PVP
You would have very bad survivability.
Warden has all of 2 passives that do not require a Warden ability to be used or slotted that can help werewolf form:
Maturation: When healing you or an ally, grant Minor Toughness to increase Max Health for 5 seconds.
Icy Aura: Reduces effectiveness of snares by 15%
Icy Aura increases magic and frost damage, not physical damage unfortunately.
