21k Crown Pack on PS4 in Canada is NOT best value. Don’t buy it!

I’ve noticed some irregularities in the pricing of the crown packs on PS4 in Canada and as it turns out, the 21k Crown pack is not the best value for money as you might think.
Furthermore, I’ve compared the pricing structure to the US prices and found out that the Canadian PS4 pricing is all over the map. Let me explain:
The US dollar prices of crown packs on PS4 and XBOX are identical. Also, the more crowns you buy the cheaper the dollar per crown price gets. In short, the pricing makes sense.
21,000 Crowns $149.99
14,000 Crowns $99.99
5,500 Crowns $39.99
3,000 Crowns $24.99
1,500 Crowns $14.99
750 Crowns $7.99
However, pricing in Canada differs between PS4 and XBOX. Below is the current Canadian dollar pricing for both platforms:
PS4 / XBOX
21,000 Crowns $199.99 / $179.99
14,000 Crowns $133.49 / $129.99
5,500 Crowns $39.99 / $49.99
3,000 Crowns $24.99 / $29.99
1,500 Crowns $14.99 / $18.99
750 Crowns $7.99 / $9.99
From the 750 crown pack up to the 5,500 crown pack, the Canadian PS4 price is identical to the US price, making it cheaper than XBOX. However, the 14k and 21k crown packs are more expensive than their Canadian XBOX counterparts.
When you calculate the dollar per crown price for the PS4 you’ll find that the 5,500 crown pack is by far the cheapest and the 21k crown pack is overpriced. Four 5,500 crown packs will give you 22k crowns for just $160! Thats $40 cheaper than the 21k crown pack and you get an extra 1000 crowns. Or if you do the math based on the crown per dollar price of the 5,500 pack, then 21k crowns would cost you only $152.69.
So, when you’re purchasing the 21k crown pack at regular price of $199.99 you’re essentially overpaying by $47.30.
Always buy multiples of the 5,500 pack instead of the 14k or 21k packs.
