Choosing which type of armor for each location...

First... If I want to use a medium and a heavy piece out of the two piece sets, the shoulders and helm are the same armor amount, so it doesn't matter which is heavy and which is medium... Correct?

Second... If I craft five pieces and want one heavy it should be the chest, correct? Then if I want to use one of the two piece sets in medium it really doesn't matter if it is the head or shoulders.. Right?

I was looking at Deltias site for a pvp setup for a sorc...he has the heavy crafted on the shoulders and light on chest... Some reason for that?

Thanks in advance for any input

    1) Yes, it doesn't matter out of the Helmet and Shoulder, which is heavy or medium as they would provide the same armor stat regardless.

    2) Also yes. The Chest piece should always be heavy for a 5-1-1 set up as it provides the most armor out of every piece.

    3) No idea why Deltia would have a heavy shoulder over a Heavy Chest. That's a personal question only they can answer.

You are right. Wear heavy chests. Head, shoulders, legs, and feet are all the same strength. I checked out the frag-out build he posted. And yeah, he made a mistake. He got a heavy domihous drop, so he stopped farming that; understandable. But the medium crafted piece should be the chest, the shoulders should be light. But... for a shield stacking build it really wouldn’t matter. Since you are wearing 5 light, you are gonna need to keep those shields up to survive anyway.

Optimal though would be to have the heavy chest and a medium piece on either head, shoulders, boots, or pants.
