While in game, without the steam credentials, I didnt get any of my ESO+ perks.
So it very well could be on the M$ side of things.
ESO+ is still a thing, it dropped off of the accounts, not the game. They already paid for it, and the problem will be fixed soon. It seems like your happy about other players being screwed over.
Yep, this is the MAIN reason I will NEVER sub through a 3rd party.
Billed vs. Charged are 2 different things. When your sub expires, the 3rd party (steam, xbox live, playstation) will "BILL" your credit card. Since ZOS may not receive payment "CHARGE", they disable the subscription part until funds arrive. This usually happens if the billing cycle falls over a weekend/Holiday.
By dealing straight with ZOS, when my card is Billed, I get charged at the same time and don't have an interruption in my game access.
