What's the record for ESO downtime? Do we have a shot today?

I'm relatively new to ESO and am fortunate that this current Steam issue is the only major problem I've had accessing the game. But I'm curious, for you long time players, what's the unscheduled downtime record? I think we're at 15 hours right now. With the only communication being "we're investigating..." I'm thinking this could be a new World Record...or at least an Olympic Record.

If I remember correctly, we had something like 3 days downtime in the first year. Still a long way.

Also, is it clear yet that it is not something steam related?

I think it's mainly Steam related but, as a customer, I don't care who's at fault -- I just can't access the product I pay for. It's like when Delta blames Hartsfield for a delay. I don't care whose fault it is, Delta, I just care that I can't get home. That said, because it's ONLY a problem with ESO and Steam and not a problem with non-Steam ESO and not a problem with non-ESO Steam, the two are probably both at fault.

Three days is rough. But the journey of a thousand downtimes starts with a single event...

Actually my steam is running good now. However I can't log onto the main ESO website it gives an error saying my connection was rejected. Also getting that login error for PC/NA in game. I'm starting to wonder if this problem moved onto ZOS's side now.

It might be an issue on both sides. I am just glad that they are working on fixing it. Just be patient, no reason to get bent out of shape over a game, even one as enjoyable as ESO.

I've seen people reporting issues with other connected games bought via Steam.

Doesn't appear to be exclusively a ZOS issue, but I could be wrong. Seems very similar to when XBL has account/content usage issues.

This is indeed a strange occurrence. I've had Steam for 10 years albeit I haven't played on Steam continuously over those years. I can't say I've seen something like this before. I'm pretty confident unless it's something ultra drastic they will have it resolved later today/tonight or tomorrow. "Edit" In all seriousness when I played Final Fantasy 11 from 2003-2010 we experienced far worse than this. I couldn't play for a whole week at times because of updates messing things up.
