New Outfitsystem and Guild-Tabard

First of all, it's really nice how [snip] made the new outfitsystem. I can finally wear the Armour I wanna wear, in the way I wanna wear it... But what borders me personally the most, is that im mostly wearing costumes becasue i wanna wear my guild-tabard. The guild tabard is sadly visible above my armour, so I will continue with wearing costumes. I wish there would be a option to turn off the tabard, so you can only see the guildname but not the tabard itself. If there is already a option for that i would be really happy if someone could tell me where I can find it. I spend already hours with looking for it, but never found it. That's [snip] in my oppinion.
with lovely wishes, a sad constumer :'(

    Why do you want to wear it if you want to hide it? I am not judging, just curious about something I do not understand.

    like i already explained in my post, i wanna that the guild name is visible but not the tabard itself. I would like it if everyone including myself, can see my armour and the name of my guild. This game has so many awesome chests that get just hidden because of the tabard. If there would be a option to hide it, it would be fine :)

    And btw, maybe you don't know, but there is a setting where you can turn on/off the guildnames, if someone is wearing a tabard.

    Many people wear the Guild Tabard not because they get to show off the symbol of their guild on a visible tabard on their outfit but because wearing the tabard adds your Guild Name to your Name Plate.

    So my nameplate for one of my characters looks like this where Akaviri Exchange is the name of one of my guilds.
    Pratorian Varanis Arano
    <Akaviri Exchange>

    When you wear a costume, the guild tabard is hidden, which is great if you want to show your guild pride (especially in PVP) but you don't want to show off the tabard (which, no offense to any of my guilds, but I think the tabards are kind of ugly).

    Furthermore, several of the new motifs have graphical issues with Guild Tabards. If I wear my tabard with my Pillar of Nirn from the Dreadhorn motif, my chest piece turns black.

    ***... I've been playing this game since beta..... and I just learned something new...... lol... I turned off the nameplates the moment they were launched (because they personally annoyed me) but I didn't know that when you are wearing your tabard your guild is shown as well under your name?!? Now with the Outfits the visible tabard is hidden but the tag remains, thats pretty cool.

    I think I understand you. So you're wearing a stuff to represent your guild, but you don't want others to see it. I understand. Wut?!

    Nah, seriously. The guild tabards were implemented for those, who are proud of their ingame communities (guilds). The way they can show this enthusiasm was that they were able to wear the guilds' "colors". I am proud of my social guild. It was even a lame decision from ZOS to not make me able to wear a costume and show our tabard at the same time. Now it's resolved (except I don't wear a real costume "just" an outfit). Nvm, I'm more than satisfied with this system now.

    but when you so bladly wanna show your guild tabard then it doesnt matter. You anyway can't see anything from the armour, when you are using the tabard, so there is no reason to use a costume

    I'm wearing my tabard to represent my guild on my Nameplate. I'm not wearing my tabard so I can show off my guild's symbol that no one knows anyway, especially not when wearing the tabard causes my armor to glitch and turn jet black.

    If the armor issues were fixed because dreadhorn isn't the only style this happens to, I'd be a little happier but I still don't like the visual of the tabard. I personally think they are ugly. I do like showing off my Guild on my Nameplate in PVP, so I wear a costume instead.

    I would like the option to:
    • Hide the tabard on equipped armor while displaying my guild name on nameplates
    • Hide the tabard on outfits while displaying my guild name on nameplates
    • Show the tabard on costumes
    • Alternatively, let me display my guild name on nameplates without a tabard
    So that everyone can be happy and show/hide their tabards exactly how they prefer.

    So...

    In normal gear...
    1. You can have no visible tabbard (wear none) and have no guild nameplate CHECK
    2. You can have no visible tabbard (wear & hide not possible so therefore wear none) and have a guild nameplate NO
    3. You can have a visible tabbard and have no guild nameplate CHECK
    4. You can have a visible tabbard and have the guild nameplate CHECK

    In a costume...
    5. You can have no visible tabbard (wear none) and have no guild nameplate CHECK
    6. You can have no visible tabbard (wear, it auto-hides) and have a guild nameplate CHECK
    7. You can have a visible tabbard and have no guild nameplate NO
    8. You can have a visible tabbard and have the guild nameplate NO

    In an outfit...
    9. You can have no visible tabbard (wear none) and have no guild nameplate CHECK
    10. You can have no visible tabbard (wear & hide not possible so therefore wear none) and have a guild nameplate NO
    11. You can have a visible tabbard and have no guild nameplate CHECK
    12. You can have a visible tabbard and have the guild nameplate CHECK

    The OP is saying that he would like gear or outfit without tabbard visible but with guild nameplate. This instance is 2 or 10 and neither are possible. Also, for anyone wanting a tabbard visible on a costume (instances 7 and 8), it's a NO.

    Yes, you may or may not be inconvenienced by this specifc scenario but regardless, the OP is asking for more choice, not a change to existing or a restriction.

    Soo, feedback here. Outift System is just a-m-a-z-i-n-g, yes. ♥
    But as I said in many topics before: Those buged chest pieces when tabard is on is just so annoying. So as a few already said: Fix those motifs please. Or make an option in settings to hide tabard or make guild name visible in some other way, would be awesome.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno
    @ZOS_JessicaFolsom
    @ZOS_Holden

    Thank you very much. ♥
