Arena was my first Elder Scrolls game so long ago. I enjoy going to places that I had been in previous games.

After going into Fang Lair, this popped into my mind.

You could have at least included your character in the second picture ... so we can see you're still rocking that iron sword.

Well in Arena you also can travel to Crypt of Hearts, Selene's Web and Dagoth-Ur as well, and they become different from Arena in next TES games, places changes form game to game, become better and more detailed, I don't see any problems there.

First image is one I found off the web, don't have any screenshots from 30 years ago.

I just though it was a good show of how games change over the years. What was amazing graphics then are pretty bad today. Didn't see it as a problem.

Weren't Arena's dungeons also procedurally generated?

The dungeons were procedural except the ones for the main quest. Fang Lair was a fixed dungeon for 1st piece of the Staff of Chaos.
