We don't want the update on console you can keep it including bugs

You also have to look at the bigger picture here. Dont focus on the effects of one update. Most if not all people agree the game improved a lot since launch.

I really really don't want this patch to come out for console. At this point they shouldn't even be able to release the patch to us knowing how much is broken in it. And then console players will have to wait longer than PC players for fixes

For those console players that say " dont care about the bugs, they dont affect my gameplay"....
    After the patch:

    * PC EU players lost the game for about 18 hours instead of the typical 5 or 6( btw 6 hours for a patch in a mmo is ridiculous thats double the average time it takes to add an xpack patch to many MMOs that ive played)

*PC NA Steam players have lost the game for about 20 hours and counting.

    * PC EU Steam players have lost the game for 18 hours and then 20 hours and counting.

*Guess what? All console accounts are linked accounts, Steam is also linked.

    * Its only thursday. The patch has been live for a little over 72 hours. PC EU steam players have only been able to play 50% of the time since servers went down for patch. While PC NA steam players have only be able to play about 66% of the time.

    * Add all the bugs you see on the forums on top of this.

Be afraid....be very afraid of this patch.

This is all speculation but I think:

If the DLC has been certified by MS/Sony, it will launch when scheduled. Nothing we post will change that.

MS/Sony could refuse to certify the broken DLC until it is patched. That is what we need to hope for.

If the DLC goes live, we will have to install it to play at all. We are not able to get to character selection until the content is installed.

Since the repair will have to be certified, it will take another three to four weeks for the repair, even if the repair is ready by the release of the DLC.

Personally, I would like to get my hands on the storage chests and the outfit system but I'm able to manage now so I can wait until they get it right.

    Meh.

    - I don't PvP, so I'll have no issues there. NO IC = no issues.
    - I don't bar swap, ever, so there's no issues there.
    - My CP is plenty high 630+, so even if CP are "underewarded", I'll survive just fine.
    - Even if my Characters are a bit weakened, my wife and I team up constantly, so with both of us cracking away, mobs/Bosses still won't be an issue.
    - I'm excited for the House Storage, and it's been quite a long time since I've deleted any characters. So again, no issues there.
    - I'm probably not going to use the one free outfit slot on any more than 2-3 characters, so I can afford the Gold for that. But once per character is all I need, so even the Gold isn't much of an issue (and no, I don't have millions of Gold, my characters are pretty damn poor to be honest).
    - I only have one Vampire, and he's used only to give bites out. So any changes to Vamps will not affect him.
    - I already know a ton of "rare" motif's completely, so I won't have to worry about price spikes from guild traders.
    - I have no NB's.
    - I have no DK's.
    - My Magicka Templars will be just fine with the minimal changes coming to them.

    So... yeah.

I'm having trouble finding where I should be having issues with the upcoming DLC/Update/Patch.

Well you know there's like a million other players who will have issues with those things.

Also LOL what do you mean you don't bar swap????

This might seem a bit selfish, but what "may affect millions of other players", still does not affect me. So I can still afford to be excited for the Update/Patch.

And it is as it says.

I don't bar swap. I have no secondary weapon equipped on any of my Magicka Templars. I have my mian primary weapon, one bar of Skills, and that's it.

My Skill rotation does plenty of damage, plus it heals me while I'm cranking it out. My wife runs a Sorcerer who only has the one Skill bar for her DPS and Pets as well. Between the two of us, overland mobs are still laughably easy.

We roll through Delves and Public Dungeons just fine, just the two of us. We can even make it through most of the 4- Man group dungeons, just the two of us (though I will admit, the 4-man dungeons do provide us with a challenge, but every so often we -want- that challenge).

We don't PvP, we don't run the 12-man Trials. We don't do Undaunted... anything.

What we have, works well for us. And that does not include feeling as if a second set of weaponry and the associated second bar skill set is necessary in any way.

So no, I don't bar swap.

I really hope you are joking but i know you are not.

Do you log in? Do you use wayshrines? Do you dare change toons? Or go to a house? Do you change zones? If so, this update sucks, at the moment. I really love the update when I’m not watching the loading screen and most of the bugs didn’t hit me. But for now, I’m fishing and getting around on horse back because neither of those go to a loading screen. The content of this update is fantastic imo, but it’s a “soon” situation.

Yeah its not fun. Transitions take at least 15 seconds minimum now and ive went over 45 seconds with no apparent issues with lag at the time. Going to the character screen ive had to wait 20-30 seconds AFTER the 10 second countdown before it would even switch to the loading screen. I just sat there with the black countdown box on my screen for that long. Ive actually been logged completely out of the game several times while just going to the character loading screen. Ive had a couple of crashes and if i could harvest all the bugs their are in game now, id have enough insect parts to catch every fish in Tamriel twice. I just found a new one today with graphics in abahs landing. I was running up stairs that had no stairs nor texture. just a white slope.Everything else was loaded and fine but those stairs. Then i was in the double thimble in Abahs doing a little five finger discount shopping and i noticed that entire sacks where missing, also some of the crates of carpet where gone. And when i went upstairs a sack was missing and one of the hidey holes was non existent. It was really weird. When i logged out and back in everything was back. Its a bug i never had before.

    This patch is a disaster.

Apart from the extra few seconds for the "Play" button to appear on the launcher, I haven't encountered any bugs or issues with the update yet. PvE questing with a variety of characters and levels has been fine.

An interesting exercise would be to gather some players together who aren't allowed to read the patch notes and then invite them to list the changes they note to their characters after an update - I doubt they'd be able to mention even 10% of them. Too many forum posters react to what they've read rather than to how the game actually plays!

I also think that on PC a lot of the issues that players report immediately after an update are as a result of their addons not having been updated. They get sorted in time. Personally, I don't use addons at all so those sorts of issues aren't going to arise for me, and console users won't be affected by them either.

This just puts it into perspective and sounds horrible I really hope they delay they update for us console players until all issues are fixed with it

Sounds like most days for me, wonder if I'll notice any difference.

I'm already talking to invisible bankers, traders and stablemasters. For me to simply log on/off 8 characters so my hireling mails get delivered takes at least 10 minutes, regardless of time of day - and that is without opening them, a simple log on/log off.

I timed character logins last night, around about 7pm Melbourne (Aus) time, Sunday night - I think that is 8am Sunday UTC.

From character selection screen to character being logged in was between 50-60 seconds, from character log out to character selection screen (excluding 10 second countdown) was 20-30 seconds. I did this on 4 characters with the same results each time.

I want the patch but I am going to give it a few days after downloading to play for things to work themselves out.

Right now I fully expect a Chernobyl style event on consoles. Something won't play well with the game, or other games, or whatever. Something is going to break.

If it doesn't, well thats really great! But I'm preparing for the worst and hoping for the best.
