Won't Take Any Dye Right

Can you fix the Renegade Dragon Priest Mask? You can't dye this thing. It won't take any color right. Even the darkest color looks barely pale on the hood. We're stuck with it brown basically as no color doesn't look horribly washed out or even appears the wrong color completely. Please adjust this so we can dye it. The area around the mouth is a little better but not much. But the hood, forget it.
