A "thanks" and "why that catch?!?"

First things first: This is the outfitting system I wanted since Early Access launch. FINALLY no more candystick weapons, no plastic shine on fabric, no more ugly headgear or forced to wear ugly stuff if we wanted a special set... We can look however we want now! Thanks!!!

One little "meh" is the missing hide helmet function in the game settings. Being able to to hide that thing whenever I wanted was useful at least for RP. Would be awesome if we could toggle that via collectible on the fly _without_ going to an outfitting station first.

The catch however, the big fat "MEH! What the hell?!?" is the fact that we pay 1500 crowns for ONE outfitting slot on ONE character!

I thought it was account wide and found it pretty steep. Then I bought one and found out: it's not. It's only for the character I bought it with.

1500 Crowns. That's how much in Euro? 10€ I think. If not more. A Character slot costs the same, and that's for creating a completely new characters.

It's much too much too much in my humble opinion. I would even say it's greedy.

On the helm toggle -- it still needs some sort of keybind like we could use before (at least using a mod like SimpleHelmetToggle), but if you open your Collections tab and go to Hats, you will have a hide helm option there. A lot more clicking but no crafting station required.

On the slot price -- yep. There are large threads expressing dismay over this (primarily due to it being character bound; many would pay the 1500 if every character on the account got a new slot). Huge amounts of players are foregoing second slots on -any- alts due to the idiotic pricing scheme. Toss your voice in one of those threads.

You can hotbar collectables, and you don't need to put the nohelm collectable into your outfit.

If anything it's easier to use it now.

I only found a preview function, no way to apply it to make it stay.

EDIT: just found it. I was searching for it in the Oufitting window. Thanks.

Yes, that 1500 crowns for the character bound slot.. ouch. And what happens if one deletes the character? Does the slot delete with it?

I'd think so. Like with everything else (horse lessons, bag space, etc.)

I think 1.5k crowns is "a bit" heavy.

Furthermore I'd like to be able to combine outfits with costumes beyound weapons. Like telvanni master wizard costume comes without a headpiece. I can add another costumes hat but I can't select "outfit X" and get my outfit head slot shown. Or even expand that other pieces as well. And not to mention "hide shoulders etc.".

The thing that irks me about this is, I used to have characters who had non-standard hats and costumes, which I could toggle on and off at will using the SimpleHideHelmet keybinding. Now, if I want to hide their hat, I need to bind their hat and the no hat option.

If it sells good then it is not too steep, if it doesn't sell - then it is too steep - as simple as that.

Paying $5 for a coffee at the corner coffee shop is steep too - and i doubt they will drop the coffee price if I complain on their forum.

I never bought a coffee for that price actually. Never would. And I love coffee.

I feel like they could have solved the dozens of people asking how to hide helmet, by changing the option in the menu to say "Hide Helmet is now controlled in Collections", And make clicking that button open collections.

People that love coffee make their own. That "for the price of a coffee at starbucks" analogy is just pure BS.

Moronwind was only $40 dollars, that's the price of a salad at a fancy restaurant. You like salad don't you? Good deal!
