yes its easy. gear is almost always necro. maelstrom staff is a good choice for the extra deeps. you can use the willpower set or grace of the anchients for magicka. glyph em with spell damage. monster helms can be llambris or maw of infernal. i like using maw personally. I stick with sharpened as my weapon traits as it helps familiar pulses, maw, and atro do extra damage through penetration.

A support pet would basically be the healing twilight. However, that is not the morph for damage dealers.

As posted above, the healing twilight is good for healing Sorcs, but ofc the twilight can die so it is not 100% reliable. For DPS many top sorcs run pets though there is some trial content that pets are not recommended due to mechanics in the fight were a pet will increase the damage for the group.

People actually use the damage morph of the Twilight? Huh. I always assumed everyone used the healing morph because the other morph sucks. For me it doesn't even seem worth the GCD used to activate it

My pet sorc specializes in soloing world bosses. She has her tank (Spike the clannfear) and her healer (Drusilla the matriarch). Though she provides most of the damage (via lightning flood, blockade and heavy attack), much of her focus is spent keeping Spike shielded (empowered ward) and healed (matriarch). A 'smooth' run vs a WB for her is zero damage to her and Drusilla and zero deaths for Spike. The clannfear is an awesome tank if buffed and running solo. If any other player shows up Spike tends to lose aggro and things actually get harder.

Gear is simple - Necropottyx5, Julianosx5, dual lightning staves. Power Surge, Eledrain and a flex spot round out her skills. She has tons of magicka (which boosts shields and pet damage) and, since heavy attacks are a significant part of her rotation, she safely ignores mag regen.

Dont forget to add stormy the atro as an ulti and either the daedroth or the clanfear for a monster helm. 4 pets should be pretty interesting. Look up @alcast and see his new pet build for dragonknight bones dlc. 40k+ dps...pve is gonna be crowded very soon..
