Bank Deposit Bug - Items disappearing

Once again, the bank is eating my inventory. This happened last month, and has happened again tonight. I JUST deposited a spell power cure sash from one characters inventory to my bank so I could move it to my master crafter for upgrading. The item disappeared from the originating character's inventory but did NOT show up in the bank. It's gone. Poof.

Seriously, guys, fix your game. I work hard for all the inventory I hoard. Recompense needed. Preferably missing items returned to my inventory.

It happened to me with recipes and motifs,

I double clicked to deposit them in the bank and the char consumed it

It was recipes/motifs of high value, to sell only, and now they were consumed by an alt char, GG!

Apparently this bug is still around. I have lost a number of items. I have bought a number of homes in the past three months and a LOT of items. I deposit them in the standard bank and thieves guild bank. I have had a number of items dissappear over the last 3 months. I go to get them to use them on a house and they are not there. I've logged in and out many times and they do not come back. I had it happen yesterday after depositing 5 items. Logged in and out several times and finally they appeared back in the bank. This is the first time they have come back after logging out over and over. All the previous items are just gone. Some I bought with gold, some I bought with crowns. After buying hundreds of items i couldn't begin to list stuff that went missing months ago now. i will be keeping close eye out now though. I can't afford to lose this much stuff. I hope it does not happen anymore but if it does i will try to remember what it was and turn in a support ticket for it to be replaced. I'd rather they just fix the problem. It's gone on for some time now. Thanks.

The problem is back since the last update. I can't deposit anything from a character to my in-game bank, personal banker, or purchased storage chest. It had been working until about 1/2 hour ago, but suddenly I can't move stuff. I can still withdraw, but since I am trying to move items from one character to another I'm stuck.I get the following error:

If you want ZOS to fix their game, then I recommend reviewing the Guidelines For Bug Report Forum for posting a bug report that ZOS might find useful.

Disclosing the platform and mega-server on which the problem occurs is a good start, but I suspect that they will need more information about the circumstances -- especially if you can deliberately repeat the actions that you took which resulted in the item disappearing, and having another one vanish as a result.

In my prior experience, sometimes the Support Team can find and return an item missing from inventory. However, the "missing items" form produced in-game by entering the /bug command in the Chat Window text entry field is useless -- use the Ask for Help feature instead. To find the item, they must have the exact name for each missing item, at least. That is, the name shown on the item's tool-tip.

If you use the in-game /bug report feature, the message you send will probably also disclose the platform and mega-server on which you are playing at the time you send the report. If the item(s) disappeared while you were playing on another platform or mega-server, then you need to log-in to do that and use the in-game /bug feature there instead.

Since you want ZOS to fix the problem, start by reading the Guidelines For Bug Report Forum about how to post a bug report that ZOS might find useful. For example, do not forget to disclose the platform and mega-server on which you play TESO.

While composing a post which contains programming source code, as above, it is a good practice to select the error message text, then use the forum text editing format control function. It looks like a reverse upper-case "P", and clicking on it reveals a drop-down menu with "Code" as one of the three entries. Using that tag in the forum message text will stop the forum software from re-formatting the original error message text. It also makes a clear distinction between your remarks and the contents of the error message.

Aside from that, please read the Guidelines For Bug Report Forum for advice on how to submit a bug report which the ZOS programmers might find useful. For example, do not forget to disclose the platform and mega-server on which you are playing TESO when the error message is displayed.

One reason that ZOS does not "fix" many bugs is that players do not submit a report which has enough information that will enable the programmer to find the bug, or to re-produce the problem deliberately. ZOS is not going to follow-up by asking for clarifications and further information when they have already asked -- in the guidelines, of course.

    Thanks for your participation.

I've sent an in-game bug report, but I've found a temp fix by disabling two of my addons: Inventory Grid View & Shissu's Guild Tools. Hopefully ZOS can get this one fixed soon for the addon devs out there - apparently this bug is affecting a lot of inventory addons.
