Hide Helmet option gone???

I know the answer is probably buried in the pages of note and posts regarding the new super overpriced outfit system but could some kind soul please tell me how we're supposed to hide our helmets now that the option to do so is gone from settings?

It's there, it has been moved to "outfit" system or sth like that.

There is a No Hat Option in the Collectibles under Hats.

Note this can be Quickslotted, so it makes changing the look a little easier for those who do not have addons.

ETA: It may be useful to understand the hierarchy of outfits. Polymorphs/disguises > hats > costumes > outfits > gear. So if you have a polymorph, it hides everything, if you put on a hat it hides the hat that came with your costume, if you put on a costume, it will hide all parts of your outfit except weapons (yes, weapon style/dyes are compatible with costumes!).

This sucks I wished they would of fixed this before the update was made live I liked walking around with my polymorphs with no helmet now that you can't polymorphs don't seem as cool

I don't think they intend to fix it at all unfortunately:

ZOS please fix the hide helmet option for disguises. I have collect most of them and I always use them without the helmet showing. For players not in the know, there are a total of 28 obtainable disguises in TESO.

I don't have nearly half of the disguises you have, but I'm with you.
It is a pretty cool feature to toggle helm on disguises too, this was the first thing I noticed when I logged in. Please ZeniMax, add this issue to the bug-fix queue.

except that I was literally wearing a disguise this morning and had the "no hat" activated in my collections....and was NOT wearing a hat in the disguise. It ALSO took away the hair I was using! LOL
