The current way to collect Craft Hireling Mails requires you to log in to each character where Hireling skill points are assigned.
This was not so much of a time overhead when there were only 8 character slots and not all chars were used for Hireling mails but from today there will be 15 character slots.
At the moment I have 14 characters at max in crafting but only have the points in the first 8 for the Hirelings. I do scroll through these 8 chars, mostly 2 times a day and would like to do more chars but at the same time I want to be playing the game.
I do not believe the current implementation is practical. Just think of the game time that would be used to scroll through up to 15 characters 2 times a day (each 12 hours new Hireling mails are available). From my experience of 11 minutes for 8 chars you would use around 20 minutes for 15 characters and then x2 per day = 40 mins of gametime.
My suggestion is to add controls on to the "Character Selection Screen" that would display the status of helper mails by character.
These "controls" would be in the form of mail icons. The same as in the game on the chat window, with glow indicates new mails, no glow indicates no mails.
The icons against each character could be clickable but I think this is not necessary and could be visual only.
A master icon for ALL MAIL should be the active control.
Once the master mail icon is clicked then this would register to pull mails for all chars from the server during the next login of ANY character.
