Ocean in Cyro

Why, here is a ocean fishing spot? It should be a Lake spot.

I agree. also the Rift has so many lake spots that I would consider river spots

Its an estuary.. it is salt water

It's the salt and tear from PvPers that make Cyrodiil water salty enough for ocean fishes.

Notice the only ocean (salty) water is outside of the AD gate.

Yes the ocean spots should be lake or river, and further east along that area there are lake spots that ought to be ocean, if there's any ocean. But whatever, it's a game. Just be sure to make your fishing toon AD so you don't have to hike it all the way across Cyro just to be ganked while fishing a few meters away from one of AD's gates. That's all I can say.

I got my fish on a nearly empty campaign and managed to dodge most of the AD by hiding behind trees and rocks nearby.

But yes, as an EP toon, I thought a great deal many unkind thoughts about the developers and their placement of ocean fishing holes.
