Just Mournoth Keep and the Orbservatory Prior, not counting the one free room I've bothered to claim.

I still need to work on furnishing my Orbservatory, but most of the stuff I want to fill it with are either cost-prohibitive on the guild traders or only purchased through crowns, and I'm too cheap for that.

I dont own a home at all. I'm a wanderer.

On occasion I'll randomly use other peoples homes though. Usually I'll stop in, beat up their skeletons, raid the fridge, kick my feet up on the coffee table without taking my muddy boots off, rummage through their nightstand collection of lusty argonian maid graphic novels, and teach their pets bad habits.

Only two homes so far. The questgiven place in Vulkhel Guard and the house on Kenarthis Roost. I only use the Khajiit island house. It's the purrfect residence of lazyness.

You can get one for free in each alliance by running a quick quest. Plus there's one on Vvardenfell as well.

I have 3 cheapest rooms because I wanted to get couple of those achievment points. Then I have Flaming Nix room, where I put my furniture. and port there from dailies.

At last count, I think it was 22...only one 'titled' manor, (Ebonheart Chateau) but also earthtear cavern, grand linchal manor, and tel galen for the biggest...actually I own all 4 in Vvardenfell, as well as forsaken Stronghold, Matheisen Manor, Bouldertree Refuge, all the inn rooms (closet and larger), old mistveil manor, hunding's palatial hall, strident springs, Domus Phrasticus, and I think a couple of others that escape my memory at this point in time.

Strident Springs - which is PVP based house with siege weapon repair workshops
Mistveil Manor - New Life Festival themed House
Exorcised Coven Cottage - Witches Festival themed
Boulder Tree Refuge - Jesters Festival themed
Hakvilds High Hall - Daedric College/Shrines

and I plan to get the new coldharbour floating island but i haven't decided what to do with it yet.

I also help decorate my husband's houses which are -
Serenity Falls - which is our guildhall
Velothi Reverie - which is our thief/assassin hide out (with lots of fish!)
Ald Velothi Harbour House - Dwemer/clockwork Workshop

Autumn's Gates (Rift) - I realized it's too small, I built a funny statue there and then abandoned it.
Velothi Reverie (Deshaan) - I realized its garden is too small and I kinda tired of copy/pasted Dunmeri interiors, it was abandoned almost instantly.
Forsaken Stronghold (Bangkori) - I furnished it, ~50%, but I realized it's too far from a wayshrine, so I abandoned it.
Quondam Indorilia (Deshaan) - almost fully decorated finally (I grabbed here all the furnishings from Forgotten Stronghold), although it has copy/pasted interior just like Velothi Reverie, but at least it has some courtyard (too small courtyard though) and it's located in Mournhold which is my favorite city for crafting dailies and pledges.

So you probably don't know this unique feeling when you have a manor for gold you earned and all furnitures either crafted personally or bought from overland quest achievement vendors which obviously also forces you to complete them all - the feeling is priceless

. Owning such house is a hard work, while purchase for crowns is so easy, just few clicks and all is yours. Ok if you prefer that way, but know the struggle means much more fun

All my 4 houses including main forsaken stronghold and furnitures are bought only for gold. Buying anything for crowns would spoil much fun the game has to offfer, I recommend the way with gold

Actually 41 of them, not 38.

Answering for myself (obviously) I have decorated about 6 to some degree and each of my 14 characters has one that in my head 'belongs to them' and will get decorated eventually if the game and my interest in playing last long enough.

I will never own them all because most of the ones I don't yet have I simply don't like the look of.
