Which set? 2h or 2w? leveling (stamdk)

Hi guys :)
I'm grinding cp my stamdk and I have couple of questions.
1)Should I use 2h and bow or dual wield and bow?

if 2h:What is better +883 weapon critical or +299 weapon damage? I want to use Hunding's Rage and Night Mother Gaze and I don't know how to combine this.

if dual wield:I don't have this problem because of two 1h. (am I right?)

You can't wear 5 of both because they are both crafted sets (can't make jewelry).

Are you planning to PvP or PvE?

2H is used more in PvP, while DW and Bow is used more for PvE.

Yes but i can wear 5x hundings rage 3x night mothers gaze or 4x hundings rage 4x night mothers gaze. (and both option makes this difference)

In 2h i can use reverse slice

    Correct.
Also, I just saw that you said "I'm grinding cp". My bad.

I would recommend DW and Bow, with 5 Hundings.

But two 1h are counted as one item or two items set's?

Two 1 handed items with count as 2 set items. So three body items and two, one handed swords will be 5 set items.

2H is better for leveling for a number of reasons:
    - Rally: easily accessible Major Brutality and a burst heal that scales with maximum stamina and weapon damage - since you want the Molten Armaments morph for damage and you will not unlock Vigor until later on.
    - Brawler: good AoE ability and a shield that helps reduce damage from mobs
    - Reverse Slice: DK has no execute and this helps kill enemies fast.
    - Forceful and Follow Up passives dovetail quite nicely with the heavy attack bonus from Molten Armaments and give increased AoE damage

For leveling/grinding I would suggest a cheap set of crafted gear: 5 Hunding's Rage 3 Night Mother's Gaze 3 Agility. Have it crafted at in Training trait at whatever CP you are; if you are already at CP160+ there's little point in grinding but if you insist have it crafted at CP150 to save materials.

All very good points. I would listen to them over me

You can do all content in the game with 160 CP.

Unless you enjoy mob grinding, (or maybe if you plan on playing CP PvP) there is no need.

Just play and have fun. Maybe grind for gear you want, the CPs will come pretty fast just from playing the game.

    ???

Once you hit CP160 you are already at gear cap and you can start farming the sets you need. XP gain is sufficiently fast nowadays not to warrant playing on purpose for this, but instead focus on quality, for example improving the rotation, learning the chosen group role and specific mechanics in dungeons and trials. At CP300 your attribute bonuses will cap out at 20% and you will have ~95% of the damage, healing and mitigation available to a capped CP character due to CP formula being heavily front loaded. In principle being at CP300 suffices for completing any content in the game, as long as you play well, as stated by the developers. So regardless of baseless requirements from people LFG-ing on various chats being 690CP+ has nothing magic about it. There are in fact many players past the cap who, valuating quantity over quality have gained them grinding on purpose, but learning virtually nothing about gameplay.

You will gain CP fast enough by farming those sets since they will require multiple passes through that dungeon or trial. You can start farming normal dungeons for sets that will fit your build. For example on Stamina DK you can farm normal City of Ash 1 for Sunderflame (very good stamina group support set) and combine that with Hunding's Rage. Also you can farm veteran Fungal Grotto 1 for Kra'gh and Fungal Grotto 2 for Spawn of Mephala head pieces and doing undaunted pledges for the keys that get you the shoulders for those sets in Maj's chest. Once you have your group support group set up you can start doing Craglorn normal trials for Vicious Serpent. Once you have that you can move to veteran Maelstrom and farm the bow. This progression can be easily done between CP160-300.
