    Anything with Razum-Dar

Ditto. Specifically the quest chain on Vulkhel Guard. His comments are the only one I still read, even after dozens of playthroughs. The guys a riot.

I play mostly AD for that reason. that and the kitties. love the lore and Reapers March my favorite area.

I dont remember names of individual quests but my favorite quests are the little side treks you find randomly, that give some little glimpse of commoner life in tamriel. There's various romantic or family tragedies all over and they don't need to be convoluted or long to be good; they're best when the story is supported by journals or diaries.

I also liked the one in rivenspire where you rescue a drunk guy named "Garth" from spiders, cause that's my name. Haha, reminded me of my youth.

I like the little random dialogues in the game. Like the Nord in Deshaan staring at some glowing fungus.

"These mushrooms are supposedly delicious. But they shine like lanterns. I don't accept that."

Now that I think more in depth about the quests I've completed, I remember I got sad and pissed off for Lakana's death (I think it's the correct name, one of the very few names I remember).

Then I got very displeased for a guy who died in the main quest in Deshaan (or Stonefalls), an old powerful Dunmer wizard, we were in an Oblivion plane or something like that. Someone here surely could recognize the character I'm talking about, I don't remember the name at all right now, nor the quest name.

There has been also a funny one (and short one), in AD territory, I actually laughed, there was a Khajiit close to a bridge in a little settlement, he had a tiger on his side and as we started talking he said to the tiger something like: "you want to shut up now" something like that, calling the tiger even by name :D
I really found that hilarious, cannot remember for the life of me the names, if someone with good memory would tell me the tiger name I would appreciate, that little scene makes me smile even now.

The whole Wilderking quest line. It was touching and moving and revealed the hidden depths of a character that could easily have been just another two dimensional baddie.

Ok, I remembered, the tiger name was Gobani :D

Did a little research on the one I was displeased he died, I think he was Tanval Indoril.

I wish I could remember names. The main quest in wrothgar is first rate for any game. Then the dungeon quests are my favorite after that. Direfrost, crypt of hearts, arx corinium, coa, they are great. The pressure to ignore those quests is something that really needs to be looked at. A simple quest mode would do the trick for anyone who doesn’t want to solo the dungeons.

Pushing Narsis Dren down a well in Vvardenfell.

    Anything with Stibbons.

The quest after you save Sotha Sil and go and talk to him. Aw man that whole bit was just so so amazing.

The two siblings in Rivenspire who lost the rest of their family to vampires.

    The death of Mirabelle Mottierre.

The cursed skeleton village in Shadowfen.

The Morrowind prequel quest with Azura.

Ah man there’s so many good quests.

Edit; Almost forgot! The Sheogorath quest chain in Southpoint (?) where he’s made a deal with the town mayor and the town tore itself apart with madness. Love that one.

for me I like the side quests like the Lady Clarisse Laurent/Stibbons ones and the Narsis Dren ones, as a bit of levity etc is good.

The one in orsinium about a khajiit that was raised by orcs. It was small, but I thought it was good.

i am normally not much into long quest lines, but prefer side-quests, which seem to be rather short but are branching out into a chain of things to do. So in the end they are a longer storyline, but if I would have known from the start, that these are longer ones, I would have avoided them - I am not much of a main quest person to begin with - so these sneaky side-quests are better for me, where I am slowly but constantly pulled into a chain of events to be resolved.

Edit: I think the point for me is - I have normally no clue why I do this or that in a main quest - I do not even care about it. But then I walk around enjoying the landscape and I hear someone crying for help and I say to myself - ok, let's see if I care enough to help - and if this side-quest has then something interesting to do, what does not seem to be a huge effort, I will most likely do it ... and when it is branching out, I am already part of the story and know why I am doing this - this said, i couldn't care less about the ESO main story - I just don't bother.
