Hulking Drauger vs. Hundings Rage

Which will give me the most weapon damage. I’m a stamplar and I’m just curious if anyone has tested it

hundings, by like 5-7%.

i use hulking on my stamplar, i like seeing 42k stamina. only 3k weapon damage, though, when the average is like 3.7k

Based on the assumption that each 10.46 points of stam is equivalent to 1 weapon damage, Hunding's gives 404 effective weapon damage and Hulking Draugr gives 557.

Avoiding literally 2 bonuses of hunding is not very good way to compare these sets. And I know OP asked about weapon damage.

I loved Hulking back when more stamplar skills scaled off max stam, [snip]. I'd pick hundings over Hulking nao

Draugr on its own if you dont count the crits from HR, but you have to consider the rest of your build ie 6%wd from balanced warrior, 20%wd from major brutality, 12%wd from 5 medium and racial/undaunted bonuses for max stam. The max stam to wd ratio should be 10.46 to 1, so do the math.

I must be missing something here... Hundings is craftable and can be any type not just Heavy Armor

Hundings Rage is a craftable set which means it can be crafted in any type of armor.

Yah I’m considering the sustain that hulking would provide. I would however lose a lot of weapon crit

Thats not my point. The point was, if you wanna compare them, youll have to consider you can get jewelry pieces from Huling, but not from Hundings, since its craftable only. So if you wanna use hulk, youll need to use 2pc medium, and 3 jewelries, OR you use 5 pc. HA Hundings (or alternatively 2+3 if you have maxed out undaunted). I personally would prefer HA from Hundings instead of the medium Hulking. I know Alcast has a stamDK setup with hulking plus 7th. Ive tested it and I still prefer my crafted HA hundings than Hulking. It feels like giving more burst

The advantage of Hunding's is that is craftable, and you can craft it in mixed weights to gain more resources from Undaunted Mettle, especially health if you are running Dubious Camoran Throne. Also critical chance is underrated in PvP, since the vast majority of players don't have full critical hit mitigation or nowhere near that so hard hitting skills that crit will do a lot of damage, and also stamina heals like Vigor and Rally will crit on you. Heavy and light attacks scale mostly on your weapon damage, so if you use those extensively, Hunding will be even more advantageous.
