Please Stop Trolling

I am going to ask nicely that everyone please stop trolling me and Dominion Knights guild. Enough is enough, there is no need to go to either our guild website or my Youtube page and post fictitious applications or vicious statements. This has become a prolific issue of harassment and internet bullying. So you don't like me; fine the feeling is probably mutual. Just ignore me as I will ignore you. I have always tried to be as respectful as humanly possible and will continue to do so. However, at this point the any whispers that even have a hint of salt in them will be reported for harassment. This is the only time I am going to post here and ask that it stop.

Do you think this would have ever been done if the trolling from those players had never happened? The number of people added to the ignore list average 5 a night when this was released. I tried to work with the guild leaders to end it privately but no one seemed to be able to control their members. Was this retaliatory? Absolutely. Apparently the only way you can get a message across is to speak the same language.

Releasing a public IP address was nothing compared to the insults this player posted on a gamer website. Again, no one asked this person to do what they did. So attempting to dox someone is the answer? Good example you set there. You've brought all of this on yourself and no one feels sorry about it. You are singularly the most toxic, conspiracy regurgitating person on AD. You and many of your guild members are hardly bastions of good behavior and I've seen some of the whisps that people from your guild have sent others, particularly those who play on other factions. Your hypocrisy knows absolutely no end.

People seem to forget that this is a game. There are players of all ages, from 10 to 70 years that I'm aware of. With the different age groups, there will be different levels of maturity, and many different attitudes.

Regarding hate whispers and expressing salt:

1. You're entitled to send me a hate whisper if you want to, as long as the content doesn't violate the TOS.
2. I'm entitled to /ignore you, or respond as I want again as long as the content doesn't violate the TOS.
3. If either of us violate the TOS or take things to an extreme (example of when BKs the guild master of TKO threatened to kill me and violate my wife with a baseball bat) then we can be suspended or banned. He was permanently banned for that.

If things become public, then chances are many people in the community will respond in various ways. Some may agree with you, though those are less likely to be vocal about it. You should know by now that the forums tend to be used by the vocal minority who are more likely to be the ones to ridicule and comment negatively.

Determining what is actually harassment is subjective, and at the discretion of the mods and the abuse team. All you're going to accomplish with this thread is get more people to bug you - or harass you as you may consider it.

It takes great effort. Daily effort, even, to enjoy competitive PVP and not act like a jerk at times. But its a choice, a daily choice, that players have to make whether they are going to act like a jerk or not when they compete and play against other players. Everyone has to decide that for themselves. Everyone has to decide where their line is in the sand too and what constitutes being a jerk, for that matter.

On the whole, I find that I enjoy the game better when I make a conscious effort to not be a jerk. When I remind myself that I am having fun and so is the enemy, it makes it much easier to delight in wiping enemy raids like Dominion Knights and to pick myself up and come back for more when enemy raids like Dominion Knights succeed in wiping me and my friends.

You know this is not true. DK has been around for over 2 years, you were even part of it in the beginning till the good ole boy club split. DK has always tried to be respectful to the entire community on all factions. It wasn't till this December we all finally had had enough of the constant trolling and we lashed back, If you want to call it that. The only conspiracy that can even come close in this game was the KNOWN fact that the other factions were Q'ng into Cryo and causing skewed population numbers. Which by the way no longer a conspiracy as ZOS has posted a fix and confirmation that it was occuring (regurgitate on that). We don't say much in zone chat and if you see anything in zone from me it's where we are going or that the negative comments from players should stop. Yeah maybe you are right I brought this on myself because I finally stooped to their level and started firing shots back at them. But honestly how much is a player suppose to take before they say enough is enough? No one is a saint in this game and no one has control over anyone else. But the trolling needs to stop. If it weren't for a couple of the EP players who stood up and actually made the effort to stop the nonsense it would have continued to escalate. So let's just end it all make the effort to just stop the trolling.

I know for a fact this is true. I was part of it in the beginning and I left twice. I know for a fact that I was blamed for things that I didn't do and that my name has been dragged through the mud by your guild. If you want the trolling to stop, then maybe it's time to look at yourself and your guild and critically examine why you've become such a target. No one will doubt your dedication to the game and the fact or that you can be a very effective asset. The problem lies with your interactions with other players. Constantly throwing the blame on others isn't the answer.
