Anybody else want the ability that when seeking a random vet or normal, that we can exclude DLC dungeons?
EDIT:
This is because I join a random normal many times, and more than half the time at least 1 person leaves and we have to re-queue. I am just wishing there was a way to avoid that.

Then how would that be random? Convenient yes but random no. Just pick a specific one.

Plenty of people want to ability to get the rewards for doing the Daily Random Dungeon while excluding the harder, longer, tougher DLC dungeons, yeah.

I'm of the opinion that its the "Daily Random Dungeon" not the "Daily Guaranteed Quik 'N Easy Semi-Random Dungeon." The extra rewards are commensurate with the risk of getting a harder dungeon.

So I'm not in favor of changing the current system. If you want the rewards and the exp, you have to do a random dungeon from all the dungeons you own that are unlocked on that character.

The only current way to disable DLC dungeons is -

    Cancel ESO plus.

I did this last July and have been DLC dungeon free ever since!!!
It is so nice queuing up for a random knowing I will never, ever get another DLC again.
Its kind of funny that this is the only MMO that actually encourages me not to sub.

I understand your frustration, especially with people who get a DLC dungeon for their Random Normal and quit, leaving their group holding the bag. Or a harder dungeon for that matter, getting City of Ash II for your random is no walk in the park either if the DLC dungeons scare you off.

When I queue up for a Random Normal Dungeon on my tank, I make sure I've got the time for everything from Fungal Grotto I to White Gold Tower. I know I've got the experience for all the normal dungeons. On the other hand, I know my DPS/Tank character would struggle to tank on some of the harder DLC dungeons (WGT was fine, I'm not sure about Bloodroot or Falkreath), so I don't queue for randoms with her as a tank. Its a matter of knowing my limits and playing accordingly.

In short, its a matter of players choosing the Daily Random Dungeon when what they want is a quick and easy dungeon, and then quitting when they get a harder dungeon than they wanted. That's a problem that's on the players. I don't think they should be rewarded, effectively, for skipping out on harder content.

I am going to use the Concierge system to gift you a DLC pack. :p

Do that, and I will find a way to get into your CoS vet queue with my bow/bow heavy armor DK dps character named "The Snipemaster"

I think this is an immense flaw of the group finder. It shouldn't be possible to just ditch random dungeons and requeue. On the other hand, if an average player queues for a random vet and gets put into a group with relatively bad players for vBF or vRoM, and it becomes apparent the group won't finish, he shouldn't just lose his random vet reward for the day.

My suggestion: Make random vet static. Once you queue for random vet once, the chosen dungeon is saved as your personal "random" for 24 hours (unless you complete it). That way, if you get into vBF, you are free to try again with another group, but you will have to complete vBF for the random reward of the day.

Also, I find it quite unfair that random normal provides you with the same reward and exp as random vet.

These are generally the same players that drop dungeon and then whine about having a 15-minute queue penalty. Honestly, I don't mind having the ability to drop group and try again for a different daily random dungeon because I think the 15-min queue penalty is sufficient punishment. They don't get to drop and requeue immediately.

See, and I don't mind people who drop out when they find out it is a DLC random. I don't know why they dropped. Maybe they don't feel skilled enough for it and don't want to let people down. Maybe they are afraid they'll get yelled at by toxic players (as if we have any around), etc. I don't blame them for dropping.
If we had a simply tick box that excluded those types of randoms, then those who don't want to do them can exclude them, that way they don't get a cooldown timer, people like me aren't stuck in a dungeon waiting on the finder to get somebody new after waiting already to even get started, etc.
