I'm not sure what happened here, but any chance of correcting it. The price is pretty steep consider I feel as though I bought a defective item.

Either because I haven't dyed it or the fact that I have specular maps turned off in the usersettings.txt file.

If the dev's have any suggestions for tweaks I would love to hear them. We would all like for things to both look great & perform well 100% of the time, but due to some graphical lag while in PVP as I play with the game full screened across 3 monitors, I generally turn down a lot of these settings to still be semi-competitive.

Clipping exist even on ultra settings.
But it's really interesting that you've managed to change color of something which can't be changed with dyes

It's likely just changed for me, I'm sure if any other players have specular maps turned on (likely the cause), they would see my character with the gold neck or whatever you guys are talking about.
I guess it could be useful for screenshots though.

Just do a google image search or try the mods for yourself. What is it going to take to get this kind of work done?

The short answer? The devs have limits that they have to stay below. If you encounter a modded Skyrim outfit that causes your game to crash, or lag, you can always uninstall it.

That does not address a number of problems with this outfit, and others, though. That is the long answer. Personally, I think it has a lot to do with them not spending as much time on these costumes as they should. On some level, I suppose we should be happy for that, if that means they are working on "more important" stuff. Would be nice if the Crown prices reflected that, though.

So what does it look like when you hide helmet? Looks like to me that it fills your image to the height of the hood.

This is the problem when you take a NPC costume and apply to PC's little or no testing on various models. A NPC can have flaws in the costume cause it does not care like a player does. So NPC artwork is more forgiving.
The minute to take that artwork to apply to a PC costume you best correct all flaws and issues. Especially when you charge more than a monthly subscription or as much as DLC's.

IMHO, I think it's crazy that people are letting them get away with this by paying this much for a costume. I hope this does not become the new pricing norm.

I too still play Skyrim, and I totally agree, with the mods I am using my Skyrim blows the doors right off this game weather it be costumes, characters, hair, environment, etc.
This game really isn't even close graphics wise, compared to modded Skyrim

I don't care if it is the new pricing norm as long as we receive a quality product.
We don't want to purchase a product that needs to be fixed, we want it right the first time!
PVP balance fixes, it's fine if those are over-time fixes, clothing & character textures/meshes, should be done correctly the first time & not need continuous fixing!

I like the idea. I did buy it thought maybe it wpuld look better in game. Ya ya ya. Anyways just my opinion but it does not look very good in game. I really hope it gets reworked. Like i said i like the idea but ya
