Error 206/Launcher problem

Well, the strange thing is that today I have 2 other member of a guild I am in that are having the same problem today. First I had this [Error 206], tried to download the client again, look at any patchdata lying around, but there wasn't any, so I then started the install of the client, sent it in the already existing game, but now the launcher is stuck at loading and nothing happens. I can only start the game by starting the x64 .exe directly. What do I do? I don't feel like downloading the game all over again because of my "slow" speed or else it would take about 2 days or more to download...!

    My game was working fine. then it crashed and the launcher started doing the same. Numerous people in guilds I'm a part of were discussing it in game earlier as well

    I tried to download the game again but it gets stuck on a loading screen on the launcher

    I'm three support pages deep, reinstalling VC++ 2010, reinstalling flash player, reinstalling the game... All that's left is to reinstall... myself... :o

    I've got the same issue, so does my friend.

    Running the game using the eso64.exe directly works fine. Must be an issue with the launcher itself.

    Worked fine for me earlier, I logged out and came back a couple of hours later (3 minutes before posting this) and error 206. FFS!

    give it a try to launch from eso64.exe in "game"-->"client" folder

    Running ESO on a 2008 MacPro.

    Ran as usual this afternoon. Logged out for dinner as always. Came back after dinner to Error 206 message as soon as I opened Launcher.

    Repair did not work as usual (none of the usual repair progress bar or messages), nor did Game Consultant run (as per error message instructions).

    Deleted program files from MacOS and reinstalled from .dmg file.

    Launcher opened and updated, but Download progress bar never appeared, nor did the Play button.

    Thanks to Time Machine, was able to roll back to this afternoon, last time things worked as usual. Waiting for it to finish copying . . . then we''ll see!
