I seen a couple of stable master say "oh I just got a couple of nice bears to sell" and doesn't even sell a bear is it just a glitch or a screw up on the dialog kinda stupid to be honest it's like the the stable master saying f u haha

Was it in Orsinium? The regional stable masters have unique flavor text. It would make sense to actually have a bear to sell there though. But then they wouldn't make real money through the crown store.

This makes perfect sense. There is a quest in Orsinium which was originally supposed to reward a bear mount. I expect that you would have been able to purchase different colors as well.

Shortly before launch, they pulled the rewards and the purchasable bears and put them in the crown store and made them crown store only.

That's honestly one of my biggest gripes with the game. Stable masters housing Guars, Bears, Nix Oxes, etc and sell horses that are nowhere to be seen.

Did you get your bear license? If you can't show them your license to drive bears, the stablemaster can't sell you a bear.

And no, they don't accept the Crown Store bears as proof.

It always bothered me that every stablemaster all across Tamriel sell the exact same mounts. Some variety would have been nice.

Indeed, and if the game had stayed subscription-powered, that is likely how it would have been. Get a bear in orsinium, a camel in hew's bane, a wolf in the gold coast and sume bugs in morrowind...

Sadly... that ship has sailed, been set on fire and sunk a looooonng time ago.

Now we have BtP and the crown store, and thus all the mounts that are not "basic horses" are found there alone.

I still wish they had at least made crowns an in-game spendable currency and sold those mounts in the matching stables. For crowns. Instead of keeping the crown store entirely seperate. To improve immersion.
Oh, well... again, ship, sailed, sunk, long time...
