Log in error and disconnects to login screen when loading a particular character

For some time I've had an issue with loading one of my characters. About 3/4 times when I try to load him, I have a very long loading screen, and get booted to account login with Error 303 timeout or some unknown error. This problem appears occasionally with other characters, but much less. All are located in the same town, Riften. I have reinstalled the game and even repaired it a few times, but to no avail. My Internet connection is 500 Mb/s fiber and once logged in I have 80-100 ping so this is not a bandwidth or latency issue.
Beta tester since February 2014, played ESO-TU October 2015 - August 2022, currently on an extended break

    Started having exactly the same issue today, also re-installed and repaired the game a couple of times.
    So it's not an isolated case...

    Was about to post a thread and saw this lol

    Really only occurs on my main. It's happened once of twice in the last month on my alts but that's no big deal. But my main frequently requires 2-3 attempts before I get in. Otherwise I just keep getting booted to the log in screen. Gets annoying after a while.

    EDIT: I should add that its says" Connection to server timed out."

    I wonder if different alliance characters are housed in different databases on the servers - my sorcerer is DC. Most of the weird login stuff that happened in the past was happening to DC characters as well. For example my Magicka Templar spawned under the floor after login 1 out of 3 times at least. Moving her from Belkarth bank to Riften one seems to have solved that issue though :)

    I solved the issue last night by deleting about half my addons which were mostly redundant anyway. After those I could load the character without any issues; I also noticed the others loaded much faster. Probably they were taking up too much memory and didn't let the character data be loaded in time, which caused the timeout.

    Spot on! As I disabled the add-ons all worked again.
    I tried reactivating a few, seems like the 2 giving issues were "potion maker" and one for treasure maps.

    Yep, commenting to say I'm having the exact same issue. I see some are saying disable add-ons. I'll try that and update if it worked or not.
