PVP Stamden Race

For a pvp stamden running 1h shield as dmg bar and 2H buff bar what would you recommend for race? either an orc or redguard and why, thank you for your imput.

I dislike the word stamden or magden. I prefer stamward of magward

Anyway, i am also levelling a stamward. So far i am only lvl 20'ish but i find 1-handed/shield and bow a nice combination. I am Imperial and a WW. I hope this weekend he will be lvl 40 or something.

mine is redguard
but the performance is way below expectations
due to all the comments here I thought it was an OP class

ppl on this forum will always call everything they dont understand OP. warden is fairly balanced actually. strong? yes, overpowered? no.

to the OP:

redguard is best

orc/argonian work too tho

I made mine Imperial, because Bull Netch gives enough resources to sustain, and I want to be able to use Bone Pirate with Dubious Camoran Throne without going low on health.

Orc for PvP, redguard for pve.

For PVP they are overpowered. They can do practically everything.

Mine is red guard

Have also seen strong orc stamden due to high stamden healing and the orc healing received passive.

Mine is an Orc and I absolutely love it. I am sure Redguard has better sustain through their passives but to be honest I mix in so many heavy attacks I don't find I'm lacking too much in that department and in every other way Orc is superior. That said you would get great results with either.

I run dual-wield front bar, S+B back bar.

well, redguards have more max stam, but orcs do have an hp passive and melee damage

to OP: Argonian, Redguard are good choices. I wouldn't go with orc since the melee damage passive doesn't apply to Subterranean Assault or Cutting Dive

True but I have a hard time believing a 4% difference is that meaningful. Plus you will be light on Health on a Redguard so you may need to invest in that area. Look at it this way Orc provides a 12% overall boost to your stat pool. Redguard increases your pool by 10%.

Like I said the difference is really in terms of sustain which Redguard clearly has a big edge over Orc. That said I run heavy armor so all of my abilities are being weaved with heavy attacks so my sustain is fine. Plus I use the VMA S+B so I get plenty of resource returns after I do a heroic slash.

so looks like its a split between them, leaning more towards orc for the speed bonus, speed bonus helps out alot?
