Perhaps I'm late to the party, but this morning while running around I came upon a set of players dueling at a WS. So just for fun I set up and gave an IC running commentary in /say, essentially berating their lack of civility and fighting skills, to include a few shots at their jumping around and seeming lack of intelligence. Their reaction was amusing as they stopped their duel and one player (who obviously was not about RP) exclaimed "Dude STFU" as he proceeded to have a meltdown. And I laughed and laughed *wipes away a tear of joy*

I think I do plan on doing the same thing in banks with people that refuse to put away their pets. I mean why the f**k would you bring a bear or a lion into a bank or a tavern??2 -

@Knootewoot I think you misunderstand. I don't report anyone for their pve or pvp play, all I merely do is talk IC in /say, commenting on such puzzling behavior as the incessant jumping, the bringing of pets into civilized establishments etc. Just words, friend, merely words.3 -

I would recommend that you keep some of those characters on a short leash. Feel free to use corporal punishment if they get out of line. Much as the stray AoE might trigger a pet that is out, and get your character into an undesired combat, allowing a character who has trouble in social situations, or might even have some more serious mental issues, to speak and act freely could get you, the player, in trouble.
