Vanguard's Challenge and Tormentor sets

I was just wondering if anybody ever used these two sets together to try and nullify zergs.
Charge through the tight ball with say the Corrosive Armor ulti on or something similar to mitigate the damage increase. Your zerg could then crush their zerg by taking only half the damage.
In theory anyway?
