The Cipher recipe has dropped into the 200K to 250K range. Its no longer that much of a unicorn

EDIT I should have bought those Cipher Recipes I saw for 250K.........

What I see listed for higher than that are some of the rare recipes from the new DLCs, so rare Clockwork stuff. But I have not seen anything listed for more than a million.

And, if you add them all together, Bouyant Armiger motif pages would easily run into the multiple millions for a complete set.

But would that add up to more than 8,000,000 for the Robust Target Centurian?

I'd say items that aren't in the game anymore or items that could only be obtained through glitches that since have been fixed.

I know someone who knows someone who still has a Wabbajack stashed away ...

This...giving false hope is just mean...

I have been playing the game with a friend for nearly two and a half years and we have only ever found one Imperial Motif between us and they drop from anything. I've given up on finding the Aetheric Cipher key and have only ever found 7 dusts.

And I disagree with the posts implying that greedy sellers are setting the prices too high for things - if the price is too high, they would not sell. People can only sell things for what others are prepared to pay!!

There are degrees of what's considered selling and simply listing a price doesn't mean it's selling at that price but people will list it anyway for 30 days of fishing for buyers. If I put up a rare chocolate candy on the internet for $10 million dollars, someone might buy it. That doesn't mean that $10 million dollars is the going rate for the candy and that everyone who has this candy should follow suit. Outliers in statistics are often ignored outright because they represent the very real influence of the universe's RNG that throws off even practical considerations.

But alas people would rather play the lottery and hope that out of hundreds of an item listed for sale theirs will be the one bought up by a whale with too much money and not enough patience.

Those are the regular overland treasure chests or treasure map chests found in Vvardenfell that have a low chance to drop the rare Buoyant Armiger motifs, which as of a year ago were rather expensive. After events that dropped that motifs like the Anniversary Event, its rather dropped in price.
