Damage Ability CP Tree Scaling

Thanks to whomever put it together however, I don't understand something.
For instance, I'm a nightblade using concealed weapon, the sheet states that it scales with both the elemental expert and master at arms trees. There is a ratio listed but I don't understand what that means. Can someone clarify, as too which tree it scales off of more or if both scale equally?

I believe it would scale off both equally if they've both giving the same bonus.

It works with both as the ability is magic damage (Elemental Expert buffs) and a direct damage attack (Master at Arms buffs).

I am not sure how such things scale in the stacked up total bonuses though as sadly this isn't my strongest area.

The ratio seems be just the to total %.

Concealed weapon is direct magicka ability and as such, 10% from Elemental Expert boost it by 10%, 10% from Master at Arms boost it by 10%. Using both, it is boosted by 20%.

Your question sounds weird to me, but I guess if I try to understand you, that this would mean it scales equally I guess.

Personally I see no point in that doc, other than to maybe check if something is DoT or Direct. Everything else looks meaningless to me. You dont need doc to know how much the ability deals buffed. Not when there are x other factors.

So 49 points in elemental expert says it's boosted by 11.10%
51 points into master at arms says it's boosted by 19%

So it's more efficient to put points into master at arms because the damage percent scales higher with the amount of cp points required?

6 points to move from 10% to 11% elemental expert
3 points to move from 18% to 19% master at arms

master at arms doesn't hit 6 points to increase until going from 22 to 23% (72 points) but
elemental expert hits 6 points needed to increase when going from 9% to 10%

So it seems like you would get more out of keeping elemental expert at 9% and stacking master at arms; is this correct?

In PVP and on this class I would guess so. It gets less clear when you are trying to also boost your DoTs. And then there are the other CPs like crit or penetration that may even help more. Also 19% at MaA is still 18. You need to have more than 19% to get 19%. Unsure, but I think that is true for all blue CP. (what shows as 19% is some 18.9999 I think)
