Curious about DPS numbers

I may be opening myself up for some ridicule here, but I am curious about what is expected for DPS numbers in the 4-man Undaunted Pledge dungeons? I have been playing for a while and have recently started these on an off and on basis. I want to be sure I am pulling my weight, but can't really find any DPS targets that aren't ultra-endgame or PVP.

My toon is definitely not a proper spec for ultimate DPS(wrong race, personal skill choices, etc) and doesn't really need to be as long as I'm not ruining runs for the rest of the group. In a 4-man dungeon, I typically pull about 8k-12k DPS on bosses and around 17k-22k on trash when I am using AoE skills.

My night-blade is a stamina based Nord(first mistake) for role-play reasons. I also put most points into health with enchants and food making up the difference in stamina. I am running 5/5 Briarheart/Spriggan which isn't top of the line, but is what I had available. For weapons, I went against the rules and am actually using 2 DW sets, with one bar set up for single target and the other for AoE. I switch between 2 sets of sharpened/sharpened weapons when more penetration is needed and 2 sets of nirnhoned/precise when it isn't.

So, for mini-bosses/bosses, I have bar one:

Shadowy Disguise, Rapid Strikes, Concealed Weapon, Killer's Strike, Relentless Focus, with Flawless Dawn-breaker

And for AoE, bar two:

Deadly Cloak, Whirling Blades, Power Extraction, Leeching Strikes, Reaper's Mark, with Soul Tether

For what it's worth, I have toyed around with Hunding's Rage and Night Mother's Gaze sets as well, with each other or with BriarHeart and or Spriggan. The DPS numbers don't seem to change a lot no matter the combination, but the BriarHeart/Spriggan coupled with Hunding's Rage weapons seems to offer better sustain/survival compared to other combinations.

I know there are a lot of areas where I could make a change or two and up the DPS, but I am just curious about whether my current numbers are hurting the groups I've been in. Overall, this build has been pretty fun to play, combining what I feel is decent damage with survival and self-sustaining.

    Okey, Quick tips:

    - 17k HP, nothing more is needed (after food)
    - Use blue Health/Stamina food
    - all enchants stamina
    - sets are all good
    - I would use a bow backbar with Hail of arrows, caltrops (from pvp) posion injection and trap from Fighters guild skill line

Now; for Veteran Pledges (maybe even HMs) I would say 15k singel target dps should be enough. Some will say you need higher. but thats more for a speedy easy run. I've played some Stamblade myself, and rotation wise just keep up dots and buffs with tons of heavy attacks with DW bar.

By the way; when I say 15k, thats the minimum for a decent run. The higher you can get this number the better. watch a few guides with builds and rotation.
    Cleared Trials:
    - vAA HM - vHRC HM - vSO HM - vMoL HM - vHoF HM - vAS HM - vCR HM -

For the DLC Vet Dungeons I advise to have atleast 20-25k DPS if your are looking to do those. Your success on those dungeons will also rely on how well the other players play. Each player should be a descent player before attempting those dungeons as well and fairly comfortable with their character and role. If not your group is going to be riding the struggle bus.

15k is good for most vet dungeons
20k is better for dlc dungeons
25k for the craglorn vet trials
30-35k for the newer vet trials

These numbers are single-target dummy numbers. You should be able to pull them off without a group providing buffs.

There is some content out there where in reality you won't pull those numbers even with group buffs simply because you're handling the mechanics and staying alive. This is why dummy numbers are important.

If you can pull 15k on a target dummy self buffed, you'll be fine for any 4 player dungeon on both normal and vet.

Anything above that is just gravy ...

I pulled ~27k on dummy yet never be able to finish vet DLC. I only use group finder to pug so maybe that's the problem. To pug DLC you need like 40k.

To pug dlc dungeons you need to self-heal, shield and do 40k DPS.

Thank you. This is exactly what I was looking for.

Install Combat Metrics addon and enable its popup.
It'll show how much DPS you are doing and - most notable - how much DPS % are you doing compared to the other guys in the group.

I've played in vet dungeons 3 DPS + 1 healer runs where I did 70% of the total DPS.

If you are one of the 2 guys who together can't make 30%, then you should start to worry.
