Magwarden or Stamwarden for dps

I have a race change token and have been debating changing my high elf magden over to stamina. while I've had fun with him I don't like not having an execute and compared to the stamina wardens running around cyrodiil currently, I feel like the magwarden isn't effective enough despite the utility magicka brings. (running shackle and necro)

So preferably people who have played both, do you guys find magicka warden or stamina warden more fun to play? do you think it'd be worth switching?

I LOVE my magden. By far one of the coolest classes with so many different talents. Great healing, great survivability, strong burst, very mobile. I have a stam warden also. Now my stam warden is a lot of fun to play also, but MAN that mag warden though.....

    For PvE.

Magicka warden sucks badly at DPS since it doesn't have a class ground DoT that does decent damage - Winter's Revenge is garbage. Stamina Warden can get similar numbers to other classes, since it uses mostly weapon, guild and AvA skills. It has good damage and sustain especially solo, since it packs all useful buffs and debuffs into its kit (major brutality, major savagery, major fracture, major ward and ). However this doesn't necessarily translate to good damage in trials, since the highest parses are with the bear ultimate, and that one doesn't work well in trials, since it dies a lot, and when it doesn't it stuns adds and triggers certain mechanics.

    For PvP.

Same holds true, stamina is stronger, since it has access to an execute (Brawler/Reverse Slice), a gap closer (Invasion or Stampede/Critical Rush), and can line up Subterranean Assault with a Dizzying Swing and heavy attack to hit almost at the same time on less experienced players, putting them in execute range, or killing them outright.

Stamina warden is strong in pvp, but mag warden is also strong. Mag warden has more utility for a group due to healing capabilities. I think they are used for different things. If you just want to kill things and not really play a support role then play stam warden. What would i rather have on my BG team? Mag warden for sure.
