Don't even get me started on this - it's OK for me now, because I am kind of used to the character creator and height sliders for the different races, but at first it was a complete nightmare trying to judge how tall/short my character would be. I do think some sort of reference point (maybe a toggleable police arrest mugshot style height scale on the background starting at smallest possible character and going up to tallest possible) would be helpful - so you can toggle it and see whether your height setting is short-arse or titan...

No I think they all have the same hitbox, it's just cosmetic

I'm not sure, honestly. I know that your height affects how far you can go in water before you'll start swimming. Taller characters can wade out farther, while shorter ones will stow their weapons and start swimming sooner.

I agree with this, I made my main Khajit NB a midget even though I wanted him to a be an average height. After that I accidentally made my Altmer Sorc a giant when I simply wanted her to be a bit taller than average. Although I really don't know how they would implement such a thing.

I have no reference point to other characters as to the height. We just get a slider for shorter and taller. I hate estimating and then finishing, only to find I don't like the height in reference to other characters in the game. Why do we have this obscure slider and no reference? @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom

it also doesn't help that the first character you spend any significant amount of time around is a freakin' half-giantess. I found that soooo distracting when I built my first character. I thought the slider had been totally bugged and I created some super mini-wierdo character - had to actually chase down other pc's and stand next to them to make sure that "I" was the right size and my npc companion was the one that was abbeynormal.
