I have two characters both below 10 with 7/8 bagspace upgrades. One holds all my rare weapons the other all my monster helm's and item sets I'm hording just in case they're buffed into being good again one day. I'll definitely be power leveling them to get the extra bag space which is cool,

That being said I think it's pretty pew that my other 9 characters miss out.

Props to ZoS for adding a free way for new players to get a mount early on without needing to grind what might seem like an impossible mountain for them (whereas to most, is a light touch of grinding) or a lil' bit of irl moolah.

Far gone are the days of "ESO: Walking Simulator."

Very much this. It was heartbreaking to spend all the money I made at that low of a level on my first toon. Then, ofc, I had the 6 month training grind. At least this way, you only have the one disappointment associated with your very first mount. The only disapointing thing, to me, is waiting to level my WW until the update comes out. I have never played a WW before, and I want to try it out. This seemed like a good time to level as one.

So they just keep adding to the list of things to get for leveling-up instead of bothering to make anything retroactive for all of our already level 50's. smh

Not really. There's a lot of stuff on the list that was, technically, already there, but we didn't know about.

Does anyone know if the consumables like the motif, bag space upgrade, outfit tokens, etc. will be bankable so I can at least give them to my preferred characters that can't get them from leveling?

Bag Space Upgrades have never been consumables, they just get applied to your character, whether you buy them with gold, crowns or get them from the level up advisor.

Outfit Tokens are account wide, they are not put into your inventory. Thus you can use them on any character.

And the "motif", as far as I understand it, will not be a craftable motif (could be wrong, though), but just unlock the prisoner's rags for use with the outfit system. And that would also be account wide.

Other consumables, like the Crown Riding Lessons are, sadly, character bound and cannot be banked.

I'm pretty sure the flame crates are per account; just wondering if the imperial furnishings and costume choice are per account or character.

PTS testing indicates the flame crates are once only, individual collectibles like costumes and pets are per account, furnishings a for every character that hits the level.

Yeah, would be nice to know. I know the crates are a once off, but if you had to level a guy up and (for example) choose the cat as a reward, could you get the dog as well on another toon?

PTS testing indicates that if you choose the cat on your first character you will get the dog on your next character (provided you don't already have it on your account). Third character gets no pet choice.

Yes, to clarify, the Prisoners Rags is not a motif - it is a costume that will (afaik) be useable with the outfit system - and applies to your account, not just the character.

Motif, bag space, and outfit token will probably be locked to the character. Anything from the Crown Store that is not locked to the character today will not be locked to the character when rewarded by this system. That is my guess.

PTS testing indicates that all crown store consumables given by the Level Rewards are "backpack bind on pickup" - so you can't bank them or even sell them to a merchant. This includes meals, potions, poisons, xp and respec scrolls, riding lesson, etc.

Yes, I just logged onto the PTS and checked this with the character I was using to test level up rewards - crown food/drink/pots/poisons/xp scrolls earned from level up reward system cannot be banked, they are bound to character. (I didn't have any respec scrolls or riding lessons, but I would assume the same applies to those)

I have 13 characters and don't mind rolling a 14th when this comes out, just in case there is anything of interest that I want. Most of it will be just annoying inventory fillers that will be destroyed or sold to vendors anyway.

As someone who makes gear, food and potions for my new characters, I can't see that there is anything that puts long time players at a disadvantage if they cannot get it. For sure, xp scrolls, riding lessons and bag upgrades will save a little time and gold in leveling up the character but that is about it.
