*This is not a lag rage thread. I'm just asking a honest question*
So, I've played ESO on the NA ps4 server for the entirety of my time in Tamriel. Just recently, my guild and friends (same friends and guild across servers) got me to finally try ps4 EU.
I noticed something right away....
On NA, lag is everywhere. Switching bars, pushing your buttons to have abilities fire late, looking around with the camera...not to mention Cyrodiil.
But on EU, none of that! Camera swings smoothly, bars change as soon as left d-pad is pressed..and my rotation!! Abilities happen when I push my button. (Cyrodiil is still Cyrodiil)
Here's the thing...I live in the middle of NA.(literally). I have a very good internet and all connections are wired....Why is the European server so much better? Is it player population? A bug in the NA server?
Any technical enlightenment would be greatly appreciated!!!

✭✭✭✭✭I don't know. Alot of players invest in one or the other, I'm sure.
Spending a bunch of crowns on mounts or a house that can't follow you across servers doesn't make a bunch of sense.
I only did it to play with friends, and aside from time, I'm not investing in EU like I do NA, as far as buying stuff goes.
Just wondering about the server performance disparity.0 -

✭✭@jabrone77 My best guess would be that ps4 EU is less populated. Probably much less populated than ps4 NA. I can tell you ive heard PC EU players complain about lag just like the NA players.. I guess ill have to try it out on xbox eu. Ive heard from people that its better, but ive heard from others that its dead so it makes sense. All i know is xbox NA is unplayable and its unacceptable.1
