Just a little PSA for those interested in the xivkyn polymorphs but don't want to spend days farming telvar or tons of gold to buy them from other players. Currently they are 250k tel var each or something like 500k gold. The trick is buying the gamble boxes in IC for 1500 tel var each. I found the drop rate is roughly 1 polymorph in 10 boxes. That means instead of spending 250k tel var per polymorph it comes out to 15k. In fact I spent less than 35k total for all three. At first I thought I got lucky but after talking to a handful of other people who got all 3 polymorphs with less than 50k tel var spent I'm convinced the drop rate is roughly 1/10. The only downside is they are not trade able if you get them from the gamble boxes, they go immediately into collections when the boxes are opened. Just thought I would post here in case anyone else was discouraged about the high price tags like I was.
