I believe they fully dye, I haven't gotten them yet, that's the preview window, but I've seen threads in the crown store forum showing dyes

The gray section dyes together, the blue section dyes together, and the third dye is the blue section of the necklace.

I just got the Bias-cut dress since the other one has the thigh glitch. Hopefully they fix it since I want them both.

The blue dyes pretty decent but it's a bit washed out and grayish. Red is much worse, every red I have is very washed out looking and some look brown or gray. The sandals, armbands, and necklaces do not dye. The amulet on the necklace is third dye color. I hope these pics work, never added pics to a post here before.

/shudders at that leg distortion on four fabric skirt, how are people not seeing it is beyond me.

anyways, it dyes... kinda. some dyes it doesn't take well, some it does. like for example - that super bright blue from finishing morrowind story? becomes almost gray. Abyssal beryl is still a nice bright blue though. haven't been able to find a nice deep blue though - all that I have unlocked/tried turn to various shades of bluish grey. but given that I'm only missing a couple, I would guess dark blue is as bad as most other dark shades I tried. edited, looks like I need to finish up the achievement I'm missing for covenant blue as its the only dark blue that seems to actualy look dark blue

most greens are made paler/grayer. like ophidian jade that is normally vivid emerald green - is sort of shiny greenish black on this costume. in general paler dyes for the most part seem to look better then darker ones, with a few exceptions.

I dont have the pvp black, but the next darkest ones are gray on this outfit. white is pretty decent, not the most brilliant white, but at least its white, tried julianos, lamae and birch.

same experiences with reds that I have tried. HOTR orange is as vivid as even, darker reds go reddish gray with occasional sheen to them, lighter reds are sort of diluted, pale versions of themselves.

sandals don't dye at all.

oh yeah, above is for egg sister outfit, i don't have the other one, cause i cannot get past that leg distortion.

From the colors I've tested, darker colors (and reds) come out well on the 700 crown version, and light colors come out well on the 500 crown version.

I got the more fancyish one for my argonian, and it dyes horribly. Darkens colors on one side and the amulet thing at the neck, pales them on the other, silvery part in middle doesn't dye, sandals don't dye.

It seems really unfortunate that, after all this time, none of the costumes/armor appear to have a uniform base texture that color gets applied to. One color will look great on x, but horrible on y. With the outfit system coming next update, it's even more unfortunate that these textures have such poor quality control and aren't reliable.

When dye is supposed to be one of the selling points of a sub, it shouldn't be this much of a hit and miss.

Does anyone have pics of the four fabric skirt with some red applied? Not the Pvp and Dungeon red, but some of the basic reds from the "uncommon" palette.

yeah I think the dye distribution could've been better on the fancier one. I think the sandals on both versions should have been dyeable. The tertiary dye section doesn't effect much. Maybe the tertiary slot could've changed the silver-blue sections also.
The bosmer tree climber costume IMO has a similar issue with the tertiary dye - it only changes a REALLY TINY ring around the neck of the costume.

I prefer the beaches of Auridon but AD got so many nice beaches. Betnikh and Stros M'Kai are nice. The EP has very little in the way of high quality beaches. Maybe Stonefalls and Bal Foyen.

I guess it goes to taste.
