I was wondering this. Can one hide parts of armor in outfitting station like they can hide helmet through the settings now?

I think Shoulders, helmet, gloves and bely buckle would be the things to hide, maybe boots too.

From what I saw, you can ONLY hide helmets which is a huge letdown. We should be able to hide everything if we wanted. I personally wanted to hide my shoulders, but oh well maybe next year...

Well, maybe we dont need to be able to hide EVERYTHING.. I for one, dont want to see people running on their underwear though i understand that some might want bare chested Nord males but the nudity stuff is for other games me thinks. So

Pants are the only thing that shouldn’t be hideable.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Hiding pants really only has "being stupid" reasons. Everything else makes sense though. Even hiding shirts. Sai Sahan doesn't even wear one, and he's a main character.

Honestly, all these cool body markings are useless when your gear covers it all. At least let us hide Arm and Chest pieces.

I agree. But they need to fix the hide helmet option on PTS first though. :#

I cannot agree with your sentiment.

I bet half the players who play ESO don't wear pants while playing. :D

Personally, I do wear pants. I’ll admit I’m an exception.

I'd been away for awhile and when I returned, one of the first things I saw when I logged onto the game was a player running around Stonefalls wearing no armor, clothing or a costume, challenging other players to duel him.

Naked dancing in the Glenumbra fountain. Naked lava surfing in Stonefalls. Naked players at dolmens. Naked players at overland bosses. And so on. You can make an argument that pants should be required, but c'mon: that boat sailed a long, long time ago. If Zenimax really wanted pants to be worn at all times, you wouldn't be able to exit the inventory screen without pants (or some other functionality).

I'm not a fan of these things but I'm not going to tell players how they need to play the game. I mean, this is an MMO. People are going to do this crap. When Update 17 drops, you're going to see a dozen players running around with bright pink weapons, thinking they're hilarious. And it will be annoying. And they will LOVE that you're annoyed.

It's things like this that make me avoid the game. But I feel like I'm in a minority, and if other players want pink weapons, skimpy clothing, mounts that look like they should come with a battery, or anything else that pushes this game further and further away from the TES games of the past, then you can count on it being in the game and in the Crown Store. Money talks, always.

But in all fairness, if a player can take off their character's clothing, then not having a toggle to hide any clothing/armor slot up to and including pants just doesn't make a hell of a lot of sense. If your going to allow for "helmet" toggle then everything is fair game. After all, you survive a broken leg a hell of a lot easier than a broken head.
