1 Soul Gem in Crown Crate?

Purchased a cheeky crown crate because why not....well, this is why... behind one of the cards from the crown crate was literally 1 soul gem.

If i want a soul gem, i'll do writs or buy one with gold, so please remove that kind of absolute litter from the possible rewards. That is actually taking the mick (for a better word).

I LITERALLY can't believe this was behind one of the cards in a crown crate. I am facepalming so hard right now.

Do not buy crown crates LOL.

I think many are buying crates for the gems they need to accumulate. While I don’t believe in this I’ve tested the waters.

It’s gambling absent of a chance for a big win. And they’ve set it up in a way that it won’t flag to be true gambling cause they don’t have a big win factor like getting 5,00-20,000 crowns back or a large sum of gems or jackpot of many apex rewards

It works for ppl who feel they have crowns to waste from subscriptions but I don’t see the value otherwise.

I’ve purchased some just cause i wanted to purchase some. Fully not expecting to get anything good and from maybe 20 crates total i got one of those weird mounts but otherwise it’s been junk that i traded for gems.

Now there are items for gems that i do want but....I can’t see spending 5,00-10,000 crowns for gem accumulation

I'm not one of those conspiracy theorists or anything like that. I thought I would just poke the proverbial bear. The thought merely crossed my mind as I was typing my OP so I thought id add it. Id find it a bit unfair if the statement I made was true, but I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

I never buy crates...and I only get junk from the free ones...only consumables and im an eso+ since early access... =.= I never liked gamble but my god I wish there would be a law against loot boxes and crates and all that garbage of in-game gamble...zos should put stuff in the store for a fixed amount instead of this ***...letting aside that most stuff is worthless garbage u can buy from vendors...the last thing crown crates are missing are actually lockpicks that break after 10 uses.

The mildly altered costumes, especially those by colour since I can dye my own, really &!%% me off because you can't sell those back for gems.

I think the more crown crates you open, the worse your odds are. I think in the beginning it’s easy to get rare drops which makes you want to buy more crown crates.

Oh dear. You apparently never read about the crown crates. Officially the reason anyone buys the crown crates is because of the consumables. That is how they do the CYA stuff; players aren't buying rngesus crates for the chance of maybe possibly getting a rare apex item. Players are buying the crown crates for the bundled consumables that are worth more than the price of the crate. The only items you are absolutely guaranteed to get are the consumables. The other items like the apex reward mounts or past crown store sale items are simply a bonus. You have a *chance* to get them. No guarantees for anything besides the consumables.
