Motif drop rate in vaults

Now I’m not normally one for imperial city or the sewers but recently I’ve been collecting tel car stones. As a consequence I’ve also been collecting key fragments. Now I wouldn’t have thought much of this except last night I followed my group into one of the vaults in IC. I was very happy to get a xivkyn motif. Is this quite common? Do the vaults in white gold tower or icp drop motifs? I’ve suddenly become 100% more interested in these areas!

Just the six fragment vaults, and just Xivkyn. Drop rate is quite high and they sell well.

You haven't bought any flower bags if that's what got your attention .

Edit: Of course, the alliance motifs drop from chests throughout IC.

Each alliance safe zone has tel var merchants. One of them sells a variety of things, the most important economically being Hakeijo and flower bags. Each flower bag costs 500 tel var and I think provides the equivalent of a survey in alchemy mats, I typically farm alot during double tel var events and spend over a million tel var on the flower bags. Sets me up for months of PvP pots.

Bloody hell thats a lot of tel var farming! I don’t think I’ll ever get close to a fraction of that. Need to save my stones for the storage boxes first then I will see if anything is left

The absolute best way to farm tel var is to grab a buddy that both PvP's and PvE's well. At 3am take all the district flags and then start knocking over the district bosses. I think you get 7k normally if there are only 2 of you, but cant recall if that's with oir without double tel var. A million comes pretty fast that way.

In general, even in a group, farming district bosses is how to make tel var relatively quickly. If you think there is a chance you'll get killed by PvPers, bank every 20k. Buy the sewer return stones for AP to save time.
