Templar PvP Build

So I am relatively new to PvP, I went to grind for Vigor on my StamBlade and got killed often by Templars.

I like the concept of a Templar, but I can't seem to find a consistent build which is in line with what I saw in action.

I am looking for a moderately DPS build, but what I find is primarily healer.

Any recommendations?

Well that's the issue, which is more common? I'd like the say that it is Mag.

I play a magika templar in pvp and do quiet well. Will be better though next patch when sweeps and radiant oppression is fixed

If I'm solo I use
2 skoria
5 transmutation
5 shacklebreaker

I run heavy 5/1/1

rattlecage is kind of eh in my opinion ... ive tested the set out but personally i think there are much better sets out there to run in its place

Imo having used rattle cage with seducer for quite a while, it’s a good beginners set. It gives you one less thing to think about and an extra slot on your skill bar. It’s easy to farm the arcane jewelry and gives you the extra health. But you don’t get the same punch from it that you will from war maiden or maybe even Julianos.

I run 5 alteration mastery (jewelry and s+b & dw) 2 pirate skele 5 thunderbug. Go vamp and you will be tanky..can do high damage also with the right skills

I use 5 Amberplasm 5/4 Julianos 2 Skoria 5L/1M/1H 2W/Lightning, all impenetrable armor w magicka enchants, Nirnhoned+Sharp/Ninhoned weapons, arcane jewels w spell damage enchants. Stats are 39.6K maximum magicka; 1.7K magicka recovery; 3.65K spell damage 53% spell critical; 17.5K health w Whichmother's Brew and Apprentice mundus on outside Cyrodiil.

Yeah, the problem with rattle cage is that it doesn’t add nearly enough damage. This means you need to use your other 5pc and 2pc to add more damage and all of the sustain you need. This pigeonholes you into setups that are very tanky but lack damage overall

I'd say play mag and stam a little bit to see which is the most entertaining. I find stamplar to be the most fun...

Currently running rattlecage, seducer, pirate skeleton, build us tanky but lack dmg, have to get by from spam rapid regen.
