Clockwork City Daily Quest Rewards

Does anyone else think that the Clockwork City Daily rewards just aren't worth the effort?

Either the rewards are broken of the Gods of RNG just plain hate me. I just can't seem to get a decent reward from these Daily quests anymore. I think I've managed a couple of Purple Mad Tinkerers rings and 3 or 4 motifs after the initial launch, but nothing good for the last couple of months. When you take into account the time it can take to complete some of these quests - I'm thinking of those given by the Bursar of tributes here - is it worth the time it can take to complete them?

I get atleast one page a day most of the time, its just rng for you.

Like most daily rewards in this game, they are a meh-bag of RNG. That said, whether or not you continue to do them depends on your goals.

If you want the achievements, then do the two that count towards the achievements. (The crow and the orc)

When that is done, and if you want to complete the motifs, buy the pages that you need from guild stores.

Tips for the crow..
Stealing: try to fit in around 10 minutes of looting every day to stockpile toys, games, cosmetics, and dishes. Stolen items may be laundered and banked to share amoung your alts or if you run out of inventory.

Same with the husks and stuff.. stockpile them.

Ornate armor drops from public dungeons and is part of the rewards for completing Guild dailies.

Considering I've only bought CWC about a month ago and have half the Apostle AND Ebonshadow motifs, without doing them every day either, I'm gonna say it's just bad RNG on your end.

On the same vein, I've only gotten 1 Ashlander Motif within a similar time frame while doing them much more consistently than my CWC dailies.

Dissapointing, a single motif stone and single rubbish set item usually. Not worth the time, maybe for achievement and furnitures only, then move along to another zone.
Personally I prefer the main quest there along with the dwarven dummy skeleton quest, that is probably the best reward in entire zone.

Aren't most daily quest rewards disappointing?

Isn't the whole point of crossing the map to kill something you've destroyed dozens of times before to get a green ruby ash bow of frost?

And why are trash non set items still a reward from dailies?

CWC is just the same. Run 10 dailies, get 1 decent reward. Or, you can run 5 dailies and get 4 decent rewards. It's all in the (lousy) RNG.

I feel this way with the Dark Brotherhood dailies. Pure junk loot. Wish every coffer dropped DB themed furniture at least or something. I've never been able to get the rare stuff from the Silent Argonian. Would be cool to have more sacraments and able to do more than one a day

Agreed. The Sacraments would be great if they also guaranteed a motif. Flawlessly performed and I get a blue pair of Impen Sithis gloves. If like Heists the motif drop was guaranteed for a flawless run, then they would be amazing.

Tha Marked for Death ones can be infinitely farmed though so it makes sense the rewards are trash. But the similar quest from TG still awards Abah's pages.

Agreed, its just bad rng. Didnt bought a single motif and got both complete and like aliyavana i still get them almost everyday, they sell quite good not like in the beginning but i sell one almost every day. Even got a golden motif book from the crow daylies the other day.

I can confirm, this is most likely bad rng. I was pretty lucky with them, although the same cannot be said about Gold Coast dailies (Mino+Arena), or Vvardenfell bounty dailies. Morag Tong drop rate is almost nonexistent for me, Mino + Order Hour is just terrible.

It obviously has to be RNG. I must admit I have never had problems with the DB daily until recently, and always seem to get something worthwhile from the Thieves Guild.

THEY ARE WRETCHED. My wife did them every day until recently and most days got NOTHING. 6-7 toons each days and did ALL dailies... and NOTHING.

I got all but one of the motif pages while doing all 4 over 2 characters for a month and many more duplicates. The drop rate is decent.

It's like most things in the game tho. It's rng. How long does it take to do AA when you're farming for that Mending resto stave and not one person in your group gets one. Farming a vet dungeon for that helmet in the weight you need and again, no one gets it.

It's frustrating af. Dailies for motifs and such are the same.

Is it worth it? depends how badly you want these things.

I did the dailies mostly on one character. I had another character do a couple of them.

The set items are not a big thing, I can't give them away, even purples or preferred trait gear in the Guild Kiosks. If you want or need those items, just go buy them.

I got about 2/3rds of the chapters I needed for the new motifs from the Reward Containers. I bought the rest. After I finished the last motif, I have not done a daily in CWC since.
