Help Improve My DPS

Hey! im really struggling to get a dps higher than 15k, any tips from my build you could suggest that would help?

Dragonknight Dark Elf, Dest. Staff CP235

Character Stats:
Max Health 16598
Max Magicka 32804
Max Stamina 14379

Spell Damage 2337
Spell Critical 52.7%
Weapon Damage 1132
Weapon Critical 20%

Gear:
5 piece Julianos: All divines
5 piece War Maiden: all divines, jewellery has spell damage enchantment

So I don’t play as a mag DK much but they don’t have much in the way of magic damage in their toolkit making War Maiden pretty useless.

Gear wise you could use 5 Julianos, 3 willpower and grothdar or skoria monster set. Burning spellweave or Sun could replace skoria too but Julianos is crafted so less farming.
Staves 2 crafter either infused or nirnhoned would be fine. Long term you’d want to get infallible aether and maelstrom staff.

Either way gear only goes so far, it’d be more helpful to post what skills you use and how your rotation looks as well.

Also posting how you’ve spent your CP although that won’t make or break you improving your DPS.

Switch out War Maiden for Burning Spellweave. Farm vet City of Ash 1 so you get purple jewels, it's one of the easiest dungeons. You can also farm Stonefalls for Silks of the Sun which is a good set as well, but BSW is a bit better. Both of these sets are basically made for MagDK and you won't use much in the way of Magic Damage so War Maiden isn't helpful.

Do you have a Monster 1 pc? You can either use a helm or shoulders, and anything with spell crit or spell damage is a good choice (Slimecraw, Molag Kena, Iceheart)

I'm also running a mag DK and I actually like the dps I'm getting (currently I'm only level 27) but I run destro staff on front bar and I know i haven't seen this recommended very much but on back bar I run either dual weapons or a two handed weapon depending on which is higher when I loot them. I am a very new player so I could be completely wrong in regards to my build but it works for me and seems to do good job keeping up with others when I do dougons.
