vMoL - minimum dps

So, I did a dummy test last night with my stamblade and my dps was 32.4k, I do love the skin that comes with the completion of vMoL. So I'm just wondering when I should start practicing for it? What is considered the minimum dps? Thanks.

In vMoL the most important is knowledge about mechanics, it's not a "dps race" type of trial.

But 30k is fine.

Depending on the strength of the group there are actually mechanics which you simple skip in normal

There is more one shots and damage is less forging then in normal. Your damage should be more then enough to complete but hopefully the rest of the grp u go with knows what they're doing so you don't have to experience lunar.

Watch a video if u can it should help prepare u a bit. I advise u watch the twins fight a few times and ask for an explanation of the fight as it's different on vet then normal, and a slip up can cause the grp to wipe. Good luck and I wish you the best

~30k dps with a stam nb is a little low since it has access to so many buffs already so you may want to work on your rotation/build a little more. In general you could still do every vtrial with 30k dps.

Theoretical vmol has no really dps checks but more dps make this trial a lot easier, but most important is that all people know the mechanics since one single person can really screw over a whole grp.

32k dps is low for stamblade considering they have access to major fracture and minor berserk and a strong execute but it is also dependent on gear, cp, and mundus stone

ppl say dps doesnt matter and mechanics are more important. that is both true and false

once you get mechanics down packed, its all about time on target and high dps.

if your group has low dps, theyre gonna struggle on twins. if 4 add groups spawn, its probably a wipe.

it is also a groups goal to no lunar on rakkhat since its annoying, not difficult. cant do that with low dps or dead dps

Mechanics are the same. However, in normal most of the mechanics can be ignores. Missing something like a bomb on Rakkhat is near nothing on normal. On vet it can wipe the group.

Its pretty old, but the mechanics are still the same. Keep in mind that these days there are different tactics, and some of the mechanics are skippable with the current levels of dps.
vMoL and nMoL have similar mechanics with some exceptions - for example, twin bosses have a few extra mechanics and you absolutely cannot just stack bosses in the middle and burn them. On vet, getting close to a player with a different aura kills you both instantly. The tricky part is that on vet you might randomly get "color change", so your aura color will change and youll have to run to another group. If you're on pc, install this addon, it will warn you about dangerous mechanics.
Also, there are some mechanics that you never see on normal because even random groups normally have enough dps to skip them.

If I remember correctly, it takes about a 20k group average to get it done. Of course, no group is ever going to let you in doing so little. Also, given the state of what does how much dps these days, if you are good enough to handle the mechanics you will be doing far more than that.

What you are really looking for is how much dps whatever group you are planning to run with is looking for. You should ask them as it doesn't really matter what other groups require.

Make me wonder if its an mod who translate normal damage to vet? This is also relevant for dungeons.
Back then I learned healing I loved noob groups in harder normal dungeons. You had to work but things was so slow you could do mistakes, fights also lasted so long you could learn from them.
