Has the banker assistant ever gone on sale?

I don't think so no, and likely won't.

5K crowns is too steep for me to pay too, it feels more like a 3K service but that's personal feelings.

Your best option is to wait until crowns go on sale - that's kind of like all items in the crown store being sold for less.

Even then I think the banker is too expensive though. I'd maybe pay 2,000 crown for it, but not 5,000 and the biggest discount on crowns has been 50% off (I think).

You are correct, 50% is as high as the sale goes, so at best it's 2,500 crowns but it's still a LOT

No but I am hopeful they will discount the price and release purchasable skins similar to the Wardens Bear skin that will let you change the appearance of the bankers/merchants. If they do then I will buy them.

Of u get crowns on sale its the same thing as a discouunt on whatever you buy. So just buy crowns on sale.

Its like camping, the last thing you want to do when relaxing in the wilderness is to have to even think about going back to town for more beer.

Banker and merchant worth it IMHO, almost as game changing as the craft bag.

I bought the banker using the crown sale back in August. It was worth every penny (and crown). Without the crown sale, it is expensive though.

I bought 20k crowns for next to nothing on one of the sales.

I was about revive an older thread about the new assistants. Could @ZOS_GinaBruno or @ZOS_JessicaFolsom give us any idea when and how they will appear ingame?

Can we change the looks to the new ones if we purchased the old ones? Will they be crown crates only? Tied to an event? etc...

I still have not bought the current assistants because I would prefer the new ones and would like to know how to proceed.

I spent crowns I get from the ESO+ subscription to get the banker and the merchant. Not much else to spend them on really.

However, crowns have gone on sale which essentially reduces the price of everything in half.

I will say having both are great. I find both the banker and merchant fabulous to have.

Plus it's only a little more than the free crowns you get from a 3 month sub.

Way cheaper than usual? What do you mean by that? Last crown sale was a joke. 20% off? I don't consider that way cheaper than usual. So curious what you ment.

We still get the sales. Maybe not quite 50% all the time but they do go on sale.

This. Merchant I find useless but banker is so good to have.

I had just the banker for a long time. When I started farming motifs I grabbed the merchant. I was getting wagon loads of items worth nothing or next to nothing. It is much easier to sell them than delete them. Saves a lot of time and keeps my characters in the delves/dungeons where they are farming.
