Domihaus Monster Set question

So, Domihaus gives:
(1) 1096 Max Magicka
(1) 1096 Max Stamina
(2) When you deal damage, you have a 15% chance to create either a ring of fire or a ring of molten earth around you for 10 seconds, which deals 1000 Flame Damage or 1000 Physical Damage every 1 second. Standing within the ring grants you 200 Spell Damage or 200 Weapon Damage. This effect can occur once every 15 seconds.
Why does everyone dislike this set? I was wondering: is it a "ring" of fire (where the enemy only gets damaged on the outer circumference of the ring) or is it a "circle" of fire where the enemy can be damaged within the whole diameter of the ring?
It looks like it would be a pretty nice set for an AOE mDK wearing 5pc Silks of the Sun, 5pc Innate Axiom (which is getting fixed next patch!), and 2pc Domihaus. That's 1000 extra damage added to the DK's fire abilities!
Please advise if you have any experience with this set.

Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

✭✭✭✭It only damages in an outer ring, which might be 1m thick. It's really awkward, I don't really like the 2pc effect, but the 1pc is cool. -

I mean- if they intentionally made the flame damage weaker than Grothgar- they should have at least kept the same effect of Grothgar. 200 extra spell/weapon damage with 1000 flame DoT vice an 1800 flame DoT.Want to enjoy the game more? ✭✭✭I used this set works well with an ult like stander taking keeps and standing on flags. Everyone runs out of stander then gets hit by the ring.
It’s not that bad but I would not use it in open world or pve or bgs.
