Corrupting pollen bugged ?

Nowadays on xbox na cyro, it's hard to tell if it's server lag/latency but corrupting pollen is not healing me at all. I cast, wait, it blooms anddddd nothing. I went to cliff and jumped off to lower my health and I can literally cast it over and over and 1 out of 15 times it will actually heal me.
