I'm trying to run a mag DK and seen its best to use a staff, but using one I noticed that some of my class skills can't be used unless I get right up close to whatever I am attacking. I was wondering which class skills I should be keeping on my bars and then the rest I'm guessing should be from the destruction staff and mages guild skill lines? I'm aiming for dps if that makes a difference.
I've always thought that the skill implosion from sorc should be transferred to a dk passive. Sorcs already have a passive execute along with a skill execute.

Why should every class be the same? What would be the fun in that?
I found, firemages (aka, magica DKs) are quite adept at burning down their enemies without the need for an execute class skill. No need to change anything for that, really.

Off-Balance as well, so this is going to be a hard time for MagDKs. In PVE they are dead already.
Templers cleans all your dots and heal like crazy- almost impossible to kill a good templer as a MagDK.
MagSorcs attack you from far a distance, if you get them and they run out of stamina they escape with their streak...
MagNB mostly range and always in stealth. Way too fast to get them.
StamNB very fast as well and as soon as they are running out, they disappear and come back with full resources.
MagWardens burst you down with their deep fissures and cliff raisers and heal like crazy, hard to kill especially when block cost is increased.

not every class needs to have all the same skills and buffs otherwise you dont need classes (which is a good idea to be fair but were already past that)
^^^ agreed, honestly even with the few diff class skills offered to each class I'm starting to notice that many of the attacks used are the same between classes its mostly based on which roll your going to play. I think it would be great if eso could add more casting skills to the mag dps toons instead of us having to use a few skills mixed from across all 3 class skill lines followed by attacks from the destro skill line which everyone playing that role pretty much uses.
Bet, can StamDK get a execute too? We kinda have to rely on the weapon skill lines to do anything and its really not idea(from a pvp person dont hurt hme).
