Been around since pre-launch!
It took Zenimax about 3 month after release, to destroy my dreams and hopes for my character(I have only 1 character = My main / Nightblade). And till this day they are still doing that, and for the rest of the game.
But I will NEVER go META. Though it means no real endgame for me, no options for real grow and no high end equipment.

There is not shame in being a min/maxer and following the meta. Achieving a great dps is actually really fun.

It's a game made BY other people, made FOR many other people. It'll never be designed specifically for you.
Saying that you refuse to play a Nightblade the way Zenimax want you to, because you want to play THEIR nightblade differently, is fine but it doesn't make you anything special. You're robbing yourself of the joy of vet trials, vet DLC dungeons etc if you don't go at least close to the meta.0 -

I agree and disagree. I personally love to improve my numbers and get better even tho they aren't the greatest yet but some people find that worrying about dps is stressful and make the game less fun for them.0
